I gave a practice test of Exam Pack 1 in which I scored a 690 (Q-47, V-37), whereas I scored a 600 (Q-42, V-33) & a 570 (Q-42, V-27) in the Exam Pack 2. I found the questions in Exam Pack 2 to be considerably tougher than the Pack-1 and since these tests/questions are of GMAC I am not sure of what to expect on test day. [In 7 days]
My performance in RC is always off. Constantly getting 4 questions wrong out of 13. Any strategies to reduce the mistakes.?

you stated that you had taken some of the CATs more than once (and that you understood how this could 'inflate' your score results). With these latest CAT scores that you've mentioned, were any of the 3 Exams 'retakes' of CATs that you had already used? If that 690 was from a CAT that you had already taken, then we CANNOT assume that that score result is an accurate indicator of your current skills.
1) What is your exact Test Date?
2) Do you have the flexibility to push back your Exam?

Hello Rich,
I had given the exam pack 1 back in December '15. So I didn't remember many of the questions I saw while giving the exam again 8 months later. Frankly speaking I saw only 2 repeat questions in verbal. Did a review of the exam yesterday and found out that I got a quite lot of questions related to Sequences, Combinatorics etc. (Not my strong suit) and ended up with a Q42 whereas the test in which I scored a Q47, got questions from topics in which I had strong foundation such as Overlapping sets, Percentages etc.
Coming to verbal, I wasn't in the right frame of mind while giving the test and selected 'absurd' answer choices. Not sure as to why it happened, but will try to fix that. But I am struggling with RC, in both the exam packs I somehow end up making mistakes and I don't know how to reduce the errors.
Test date is on 23/09/16.
Pushing back is not an option anymore, its been 2 years and I want to close this chapter to the best of my capabilities.
