NEED SUGGESTIONS:- Cornell Tech MBA ($160k [tution + personal expenses] ;1 year ; post mba avg salary $150k-$200k ) VS IIM-Udaipur ( $30k [tution + personal expenses] ; 1 year ; post mba avg salary $30k-$40k).
Points to be noted- 1) I belong to Indian middle class family with tight finances. 2) Taking a $150k loan @12% from prodigy finance if choosen Cornell (is it worth the risk?) 3) cost of living in India is almost 1/4 of that in U.S.( so, $150k salary in US is same as $40k salary in India) 4) Post MBA goal is to settle working for a TECH MNC (preferably FAANG) in India (5-7 years down the line) 5) Cornell Tech is a globally recognised brand but brand recognition of IIM is not that bad in India.
Thanks in Advance for your help and suggestions!!!!

In these cases, for me it boils down to where you want to settle in the Long term. Since apart from the Brand recognition and recall, even the network you build is stronger and more beneficial in the same geography generally.
Good luck with the decision! Do update the thread with what you decide
If you want to settle in India, IIMs are better, but not the new ones. If you get from the old ones go for IIMs, else Cornell. As it is one of the top colleges all-over.
akshay0810 If you are comparing IIM Udaipur MBA vs Cornell Tech ? Well Cornell wins hands down🙏 Coming up to IIM Fees (udaipur mba)l, 1 year mba GSCM) - its 23Lakhs Placements - (indian mentality , so)- is not that great.
Cornell tech MBA - if you have an offer it makes sense to go for it. Bigger brand , better prospects, much better learning curve and well US is land of opportunities 👍 All the best mate

We understand this is a delayed response but just posting so someone else could use this in the future.
If the IIMs in contention were the top-ranked ones (A,B,C and to some extent even L & I), we would have told you to take a decision based on where you see yourself settling down, because networking plays a crucial role in the job hunt process. However, the IIM you are considering is Udaipur, and between the two programs, it is clear that Cornell is a winner. Yes, the risks involved in joining an Indian program are way lesser but the returns would possibly be a lot lesser as well, especially when the program you are considering in India does not have a great brand value.
