Hi,
I would like to ask your advice on a particular scenario;
My long term girlfriend (soon to be fiance) got an interview invite from school A while I did not. Nowhere in our admission did we state we are a couple though. School A says their notification deadline is end of February so I should hold on.
Given that my most people I know have done their interview and I have not, I am not sure if they are still considering me or just waiting for the notification deadline to give me a dinge
My question is; Should my girlfriend inform the school that we are a couple and I am yet to get an interview invite or should she be silent? I think it can work either ways as the school can consider me because of her or the school may not give her admission because of me.
Please whats your take?

Hi there,
Good question and it's a bit of a catch-22 as there could be pros and cons you are right; on our team we have worked with many couples over the years, and many of us do suggest mentioning it casually in the interview etc so that the schools are aware, in case it helps them to think about their 'yield' (i.e. how likely they are to see you/both of you attend); that said the school would say they'd still assess you each on your own merits. Good luck either way!!
