The main thing to understand is that, to master CR, you have to be precise in how you read the passages and choices.
For example, if the passage says, "Once the plan is implemented, the town will have more retail businesses on Main Street," we can take only one thing from that sentence, which is that the implementation of the plan will coincide with an increase in the number of retail businesses on Main Street.
That sentence does NOT say any of the following:
- The plan will be implemented.
- The town will be in good shape.
- The retail businesses on Main Street will be profitable.
- The town will generate more tax revenue.
- Etc.
If we are not precise in how we read and understand sentences, then we could get the impression that they say things they don't and therefore choose incorrect choices.
