Sure Canada’s job market is getting tough and tough due to the influx of immigrants especially Ontario and British Columbia.
True Good than that with language barrier
DamienHarrison
If you make a choice between Canada and Germany, I would choose Canada. Yes, the competition will be tougher, but at least there is no language barrier. I'm not so polyglot (

In my opinion and according to the current situation Germany is one of the best country to study. They offer free education and their education systems is far better than others but the only issue is before apply there you have to learn German language

In fact, you are exaggerating a little. Yes, there is a competition but it is unskilled labor. If you have a good profession and experience, then getting a good place will not cause a problem. Many students go on exchanges to finish their last year of study at Canadian universities. They are provided with such opportunities as assistance with accommodation, find out more. Well, you should be afraid, you need to take the first step. I think so.

I was going to study in Finland cause you can have a part-time job here, for it was the main factor.

Nice! It seems Finland is gaining momentum here.
But “Better” in terms of what? :)
Gutanty
I have heard a lot of information from acquaintances studying in Finland that education there is better than both American and British.

In my opinion, it would totally depend on where you want to end up(Industry-wise and career wise). Surely, in the end, this would come up as a personal choice.
Every country have their own Ivy league colleges(although many might not come up in FT rankings), so it would be best to research based on post MBA goals.

Just 20,000 international ? Though not a convincing criteria , I can see a “United state of Canada” in the near future lol
gmatGREdan
Pretty interesting. I just checked and here are the criteria that they used in their survey of 20,000 international students

"The rankings are based on these 7 factors:
To experience a new culture
To achieve career goals
To have an adventure
To make new friends/widen professional network
To access higher quality teaching
To study for free
To attain a visa"

I've been helping students make their choice on where to study for awhile now (over a decade), and here are a couple of my thoughts:
1) I've never had a student go to Canada and regret it
2) Most students make more money in Germany after their studies than they do in most other European countries
3) Visas are tough to get in the US but if you get one, you can make a lot of money (and make sure to get good insurance because hospital bills add up real fast)
4) Australia is far from the US and Europe, but if you don't mind that, the economy is good down there
5) China is fun for awhile but most expats get tired of it after a couple years since it's hard to integrate
6) The UK is ranked lower due to all of the problems that are coming with Brexit I'd imagine. I've had a couple students tell me it was tough to find a job after their MBA so they had to go back to their home country.

Many European countries offer free (or very cheap) tuition with high-quality universities which is difficult to match.

I opt for the USA. As I know, no one country has at least anything similar to Ivy League colleges.

The US is a great place to study, but the following have to be kept in mind.

Cost of Education : Even though the US has most of the top ranked universities, the high cost of education makes it difficult to afford for most people. However, if you can afford the cost, have access to credit, or can get a scholarship (available easily for a good student), then the US is a great place. If you're looking for a scholarship then look to get great scores in your GMAT/ GRE.

STEM program or not: When it comes to job opportunities in the US, a lot depends on whether the program is a STEM (Science Tech Engineering Math) program or not. A STEM status allow you to qualify for three years of Optional Practical Training (OPT), which makes you desirable to employers as your visa wouldn't need to be sponsored by them.

Location: Big cosmopolitan cities such as NY are better for employment purposes. However, these are again expensive to maintain.

Germany is another great place.

Education is mostly free. However, many PG Management programs at top schools such as WHU and Manheim come with an expensive price tag.

German Language requirement: While German may not be an official requirement for all courses, not knowing the language has its drawbacks in terms of living comfort and job prospects.

Canada is one of the top destinations, but it has limited choices when it comes to good colleges. Further Canada has tough competition as their are plenty of immigrants.

In the end, do your research well, and talk to as many people as possible. Just make sure those who you talk to don't pass incorrect infoirmation.

Best regards

Great information. Can we please have similar information regarding working on student visa or work visa after graduation in other countries such as UK, EU, Singapore, Canada, etc?

Please direct me to the thread if this information already exists on this forum.
