Congrats on your admits!
If you are an international applicant and you expect to potentially work outside of the US, Yale definitely beats Darden‘s name.
And the same time, Darden has solid investment banking recruiting opportunities through on campus events, New York City visits, and through their alarm network. It’s been traditionally strong in that regard.
Do you by chance love or hate the concept of case study method?
While Yale‘s ranking jump could be temporary, it is still more or less a top 15 and perhaps top 10 school. It’s definitely been calling edit over the last 15 years. it is one or two levels above Darden., meaning it’s in a different group or league of schools.
In my view, you could be successful at Darden. I think you could achieve your goals but you would not have the bragging rights of Yale or the brand. Would that be an acceptable result to you? I know that for some people, they are looking for the ultimate brand and ultimate experience and I understand that. Makes it for an easy choice in that case.

Thank you for your congrats and reply!
I also think that Yale is a strong top 10 school. And yes, bragging rights are really important, especially given that I'm from abroad where everyone knows Yale and nobody knows Darden. It would be an easy choice if I had the same amount of scholarship at Yale too, but Darden is like $100K cheaper for me than Yale.
That's why it's not so easy.. Oh, and by the way, I was put on a waitlist by Sloan too.
