itsyodaa,

Thank you for the request. Have you mastered all the other levels already or are you doing the famous shortcut of "who needs to crawl or walk if you can run?" 😂

You are free to make requests. However, I want to point out that if it takes you 5-7 minutes to solve easy-level questions, focus on mastering them first. Additionally, you won’t encounter 700-750 level questions unless you consistently get the easy-medium ones correct.

So what is the ideal time to solve 550-600 data insights question?

The answer varies from person to person.

Ideal time is less than 1 min.

This is a note in the official explanation of gmat prep question. Does weight always have to add up to 1? Maybe I’m missing something obvious.

1. People with BMI 35-39.9 have 2 as their relative risk.
2. People with BMI 35 have 1.8, BMI 37.5 have 2, and BMI 39.9 have 2.2

Which is the correct way to interpret this?

basicallybhavesh, this is how I approached it.
# An "average individual" has a Relative Risk of Death = 1.0
# For someone "twice as likely to die," the Relative Risk would be 2.0
# From the graph, a Relative Risk of 2.0 occurs at a BMI of 35.0 to 39.9
# Therefore, the minimum BMI for obesity is 35.0.

Is that the correct answer?

The correct answer is 39.9 based on the Experts Global Mock. I suspect that the options were 34.9, 39.9 and other numbers, none in between the two; hence, 34.9 is definitely not the minimum, it should have been 35.

I’m struggling with this question, can anyone help, please? Thanks!
I think the problem here is with the term "maximum growth." Your answer is based on that the largest growth means relative to itself. For example, 10 to 20 has more growth than 100 to 150 because 20/10 = 2 > 1.5 = 150/100. Then, you find the point that belongs to the graph y=kx, where k is largest. However, I think "maximum growth" is relative to other values: 10 to 20 has less growth than 100 to 150 because 20-10 = 10 < 50 = 150-100.

And in this case, you would instead look at lines with y=x+c , with c trying to be as large as possible. Then, (42,22) would have the largest c (or difference) and be your answer.

Either way, the terminology is kind of weird

I see the perspective. In the case of stocks, wouldn’t it be common sense to achieve growth relative to itself? Since this wasn’t an official GMAT questions, I’ll just forget about it due to the ambiguity present.
