Everywhere card + American Local card = $1350 = 3 X ( Passport card)
Everywhere card = 3 X (Passport card) - American Local card
as balances about these is unknown, it is not possible to determine if Everywhere card is owing highest due
statement 2:
let us consider,
passport card balance = a,
American local card balance = b,
Everywhere card = c.
it is given
c= 4/3(a) = 4/5(b)
we get b= 5/3(a)
therefore we have all the balances in one variable a i.e,
passport =a < everywhere = 4/3(a) < american local = 5/3(a)
therefore everywhere is not greatest due balance. this can be concluded from statement 2.
hence ans is b - statement 2 alone is sufficient...
