First, the interviewer explained me a little bit how he will proceed with the interview.
Then he started the interview and most of the questions were here in the debrief.

5.What are you expecting to get from Vanderbilt?

Interviewed with a second year student. The format was very conversational in nature. I started with my formative years and work experience. He interrupted me a few times to ask about places I worked in and my international experiences. We spoke about why I want to do an MBA and of course why Darden would be a great fit for me. We spoke about my values and hobbies. He asked about my views on DEI. He asked about what other schools I am considering and what are the top three things for me when selecting a school. He then gave me more background about himself and his own admissions experience. I asked him two questions and we concluded the interview.
Overall advice-The Darden interview is a bit of a monologue however don't be afraid to veer a little off-course if that's what the interviewer wants. Best to prepare the following really well-childhood experiences and undergrad experiences that have molded you into the person you are, work experience, why MBA, why Darden, what do you do outside of work/hobbies and your core values. Good luck!

I had my interview on 23rd October and it went by pretty swiftly and lasted for approximately 30 mins. My interviewer, Mr. Thomas Keller, gave a brief introduction of UPitt and Katz before getting started. The interview questions I was asked have been enlisted in a previous post of mine. I had my unofficial confirmation of admittance on 24th October and the formal confirmation came a few weeks later.
All the Best!

Hi!
I completed my interview today. The interview was conducted by the director of admissions - Andrew Brayda.
It was very conversational. Apart from the standard MBA interview questions, questions were mainly on DEI. Also, it was a blind interview.

Just had mine on zoom with a second year student. Really nice guy, conversational in nature. Just make sure you prepare well for the introduce yourself at the beginning, and your why mba and why darden and goals are solid. I got 2 behavioral questions as well on diversity and how do you manage a conflict. And then a conversational Q&A at the end.

I had a in person interview today in Delhi. Nice, free flowing conversation for 45 minutes. Tell me about yourself, why MBA, why Darden and then some qs related to my story and background. Additionally, a qs on how i resolve conflict, and then I asked 3 qs. I think minimal preparation will be the best for this interview - just need to be clear on the ’why’ of every thing- college majors, career, darden and post - MBA :)

Expect a 30-35min interview where you typically start with a 10-12 minute monologue about your journey till your MBA application. Following this, expect questions on the lines on why MBA, why Darden, short and long term goals. I’d recommend prepare hard on the why Darden question and mention interactions with the Darden community. Then, expect a couple of questions on the lines of a significant leadership experience and community involvement. Finally, make sure you utilize the time at the end to ask questions that cannot be found on the website and send a thoughtful thank you note.

I just had my interview with a 2Y. I don’t feel that I did very well. I was so sweaty and stressed. I did prep but I don’t think I communicated very well. Hopefully things work out.

- Why an MBA now?
- Why Kelley?
- What value do you bring to a team?
- How have you prioritized multiple projects when you were pressed for time?
- How have you dealt with coworkers who didn’t pull their weight on a team project?
- What are your weaknesses?
- What are your post-MBA goals? What industry?
- What other schools have you applied to? Have you been accepted anywhere yet?
- Is there anything that you haven’t shared with me or in your application that you would like to add?
