1. What do you do on a daily basis at work, follow ups on metrics, asked me to describe the product, a few more follow ups on the product - in trying to understand the target customers and the evolution of online sales
2. LT Career goals: why Edtech and ISB has about 60% engineers, how do I plan to compete with them for recruiting. What do I bring to the table
3. Why product management? What in my view does a product manager do
4. If I were to build an Ed-tech product? What would it be? How would you pitch it.
5. Follow up on the product that I pitched
6. Why product management? Why not a business owner or a category owner
I had three interviewers, I knew their names, but they did not introduce themselves. Jumped right into the discussion. The entire interview overshot by 5 minutes post the scheduled 45min. They did not ask me if I had any questions for them (I had questions, but didn't ask since I wasn't given the opportunity). Towards the end, one interviewer mentioned that it was a very productive discussion.
I'm still ambivalent of the interview because they didn't ask me to introduce myself, nor did they provide introductions, and they completely refrained from typical b-school interview questions such as Why ISB and QnA.

The interview was conversational and friendly.
I had only 1 person interviewing me.
Some questions asked:
1. Why MBA?
2. Tell me about something that is not in your application
3. Some questions on extra-curricular activities
4. Ethical dilemma based scenario questions
5. A time at office when I displayed my strengths/skills.
Overall, it was a relaxed and insightful conversation.
I used Preppie's ISB interview training for BITSoM, and their insights really helped me with this interview! :)
Cheers!

The interview was taken online (via Zoom) and lasted for about 35 minutes. An AdCom member took the interview. It was a pleasant experience as she made it an engaging conversation throughout.
The questions were:
- Introduce yourself and tell me why you want to do an MBA and why at WashU Olin
- Post-MBA goals and target companies (then a follow-up question based on my resume)
- Tell me about a time when you dealt with conflict within a team
- Tell me about a time when you experienced failure and your learning from it
- What excites you about St. Louis? Also, would you like to ask me anything?
I'm also adding the questions from the Kira interview that I completed earlier:
Q1. Introduce yourself to your future classmates at WashU Olin. (1 min)
Q2. If you could travel anywhere, where would you travel to and who'd you take with you? (1 min)
Q3. What is the best piece of advice you have given to someone? (1 min)
All the questions were of video type and prep time was 30 seconds for each.

I had a very conversational interview yesterday. The interviewer is a senior consultant of Adcom. I checked his Linkedin later: he had over 20 years of experience in marketing and now works full-time as an admission and recruitment officer at Oxford.
The interview lasted about 45 minutes. The interviewer carefully reviewed my application material and Kira online assessment. He asked very standardized questions at the beginning, like "why MBA, why now, and why Oxford." Then he dug into some detailed questions relevant to my personal experience:
Why did you leave legal practice to join a startup?
Did you talk to some Oxford alumni? (He noticed that one of the referees writing my recommendation letter is an Oxford Said alumna)
What is your motivation to enter the non-profit industry? (probably because I have a very unconventional career path)
He said those questions helped him understand me better, and he then asked two competency-based questions:
Tell me about an example where you demonstrated your leadership in an upheaval.
If you are admitted to the Oxford MBA program, you will need to briefly introduce yourself in front of the cohort. What are you going to say?
Before we wrapped up the interview, he gave me a chance to ask him some questions.
Anyway, he was very nice and polite, but the overall atmosphere was not very chilled since his facial expression was a bit serious and he was taking notes all the time.
Fingers crossed!

Relatively short( 30min), focused Interview with questions on the following lines. The Interviewer was Ms. Jessica Dowling, the MBA admissions manager.
1. Why MBA and Why Smurfit?
2. Describe your professional work experience
3. Conflicts managed if any
4. Post MBA goals- short term/long term
5. General Q&A
Tip: Smurfit seems to focus more heavily on essays and school research done by the applicant. Decision comes usually about 7-10 days after the interview.

My interview experience was very good. It was as smooth as people say. Most of the discussions revolved around my work ex, goals and my back up plan if ISB doesn't happens. No extra curricular or stress interview.
Interview used to be my weakest point, thankfully i got to know about Preppie (An ISB Alumi initiative - where ISB alums take your mock interviews). Those people scheduled 2 mocks within a span of 4 days on my request since I was short on time. They boosted my confidence and pointed out areas of improvement where ever necessary or told me how I could have answered them in a better way.

Started off with some small talk and jumped in:
"I have your resume in front of me, but I'm not going to ask you to walk me through it. Tell me about a meaningful professional experience and why?
"Tell me about a professional experience where someone had a different perspective than you and how did that perspective change the outcome, if at all?"
"What are your goals? And, why an MBA?"
"How can Yale SOM help you get to your goals?"
"You were asked to consider a quote by Dean Kerwin Charles. How will you contribute to the diversity at Yale SOM?"
"Tell me about the quote you selected and why?"
"Is there anything else that you would like to add?"
Then let me ask questions. I think I asked 3 questions. The interview went to about 35 minutes.

The interviewer is a seasoned career coach at both Oxford and LBS and member of the admissions committee. My interview was a stress interview, where the weaknesses in my profile were pressed on from the start. The interviewer did not seem to be interested in my current/past role or achievements.
Why MBA?
Why Oxford?
Your immediate plans?
Have you applied to any other school?
Have you reached out to people in the companies you are targeting?
Why would competitive firms hire you?
Are you connected with any of the current students at Oxford or the Alumni?
Are their alternative firms to your preferences? Do you have connections there?
What would you do if you don’t get into the MBA at Oxford?
Tell of examples from your recent experience which connects with values at Oxford MBA?
Any questions you have with me?

2. Why 1+1 MBA (if applicable); Follow up q: if I don't get into MSc program, will I still attend the MBA
3. Leadership style
4. What three things in particular excited me about the program
5. Question about gap on my resume

Best of luck to everyone!

Very conversational, interviewed by a member of the admissions committee - he had read my application thoroughly.
1) Why MBA, Why Now, Why Oxford?
2) What avenues within consulting?
3) Consulting is very competitive. Think of me as a McKinsey recruiter - how do you stand out?
4) Why did you leave a prior job?
5) Tell me about a time you resolved a conflict within your team (This was very rapid-fire, he kept cutting me off because I think he wanted a very concise specific answer. So within that - How did you approach the colleague? How did he take it? How do you think you could improve?)
6) Describe your leadership style, How has your leadership style evolved, and how do you think you improve?
7) Which other schools have you applied to and what is your top priority?

If I had to describe my interview experience in one word, the word would be DELIGHTFUL! The AdCom took the pain to match my profile as close as possible with that of the interviewer (I come from a tech background).
The questions asked were pretty standard:
Why Judge? Why MBA? Why Cambridge? What are my future aspirations? How does my present profile fit into my post MBA aspirations?
For every answer I gave, I received feedback immediately. The Professor appreciated that I provided my answers in points (literally stating point #1...2 and so on..).
At the close of the interview I was asked one last question (I had heard about these curved ball questions from other students): What according to me is the greatest challenge that the world is facing today, i.e what is the world's biggest problem?
