What do you see yourself doing 10 years from now?
How will you measure whether you are reaching your goals?
What is the most constructive feedback you have received?

I had my interview with Susan Mellage and as many people mentioned, she has the most comforting smile during the interview. It was very conversational and she asked me very typical MBA interview questions with some f/u questions.
1. Tell me about yourself?
1-1. Why did I go to Canada and why did I choose to study in the US for my undergraduate study.
2. ST / LT goals
3. Why Goizueta?
4. Why MBA?
5. Leadership experience?
6. Constructive feedback?
7. What are you going to do between now and the class
8. Do you have any questions for me/

I had my interview with Nicole from the admissions team. She told me upfront that it'll be a blind conversational interview so that she gets to know me better. The questions were as follows.
1. Give me a brief introduction about yourself.
2. Questions about my work experience.
3. Some questions around extra-curricular.
4. Why MBA?
5. Why Simon?
6. What is your leadership style?
The interview lasted for only 20 minutes. However, it was one of the best interviews for me so far. I was very confident at the end of it.
Advice to everyone: Just be calm and be yourself.

Pretty neat conversational Interview. Focussed on whether I was clear on the MBA/
Few tips that helped
1)Stay real and be yourself, I was literally conversationally at my best and told her that I was in the hills travelling. And we spoke about travels and sports for 10 / 30 mins
2)Be clear and specific on why mba and why kenan. I was clearly aiming for the school and the passion I addressed via networking, talking to profs, students and just being closer to the actual community. I literally opened all my cards pre during and post the interview slowly but steadily and built a conversational approach towards the app - much more personalised.
3)Have clarity on how you can contribute and give back to Kenan and why you should get there ahead of everybody else. It is energy and zeal once again and do focus on demonstrating that well.
4)Stay humble and have a leadership principle. focus on what works for you, in my case 8 odd years of work ex gave me some pov on what works as a leader personally and what i want to learn at kenan.
Got my decision via call / phone today. Best thing that happened to me in years. The last best something similar was when I raised funding for my startup. Keep dreaming! You will make it.
PS - I did not use a consultant and I think it helped me understand myself during the process better.

Interviewed by an alum and AdCom member.
1. Let's start with a 60-second elevator pitch.
2. Why MBA?
3. Why NUS?
4. Name top 3 companies you want to work for and 3 cities in Asia you want to work in.
5. Why not double-degree program specifically NUS-Peking one (since I mentioned Beijing in previous answer, this was a follow-up)
6. Talk about 2 recent news updates - one from Asia and one global (since I'm a journalist, this was relevant to my profile)
7. What is your weakness?
8. One leader you would like to invite to NUS to speak.
9. How would you handle a situation where a team member is not pulling his weight?
10. One reason we should reject you.
11. Anything you would do differently (professionally) if you could go back in time
12. One Asian company you admire which is not from your industry
These may seem like a lot of questions but the interview lasted about 25 mins only.
Overall, it was a pleasant experience and the interviewers were friendly and conversational.

My interview experience with Cambridge was very delightful. I had joined a full half an hour earlier on the zoom invite for the meeting having done little prior research on my Interviewer professor. The professor was very courteous and welcoming. The tone of the interview was very conversational and we covered the below questions naturally flowing from one other. We had a good off the topic discussion about music as well which took us close to the interview time limit. Overall 25 mins of questions with 5 for myself to ask questions post that. Questions not in order were.
Why MBA? Why Cambridge?
The rationale behind the decision making of my career progress till date.
What do I think the music industry will look like in the next 10 years.
Strengths, weaknesses, leadership style.
Knowing it is a one year MBA and seeing you can do many things, how do you plan to make use of your MBA the most.
I got my admit decision 8 days post my interview date.

* Application submitted on 11/29
* Invited to interview on 12/06
* Interviewed on 12/8
The interview was quite conversational and followed a usual structure beginning with pleasantries, moving on to goals and behavioral questions, and ending with questions for the interviewer.
The interviewer was a 2nd-year student with a background in marketing and a humble attitude. She was very friendly and we had a great conversation.
[The questions mentioned below are not how they were put exactly but I have tried my best to convey the intended meaning; I chose not to record my interview and so the order of questions may be slightly jumbled]
Questions:
[First ~30 mins]
Why Tuck?
ST/LT goals
What is it that you are lacking right now to pursue your short-term goals?
What clubs and activities do you see yourself engaging in at Tuck?
What has been your most significant achievement?
A time when you went out of your comfort zone!
A time when you learned something from your peers!
Negative feedback that you received at work and how did you respond to it? How did it change you?
Anything that you hoped to cover as part of our interaction but has not come up yet?
[Last ~10 mins]
Do you have any questions for me?
I hope this helps! All the very best!

3. Digitalization in energy and chemicals industries (my sector)
4. Digging deeper into the nature and impact of my previous role
5. How my design background could help in consulting/strategy roles
6. Why MBA?
7. Why ISB?
8. Extra-curriculars
A couple of days before my interview, I practiced a mock with two ISB alumni via Preppie. Their mock interview was very rigorous and helped me warm up for D-day.

Interviewed with the head of adcom via Zoom
(he was 12 minutes late I thought I was confused by the time zone and almost had a heart attack)
-Why MBA Why now and why Imperial? (didn't ask me to "tell me about yourself" at all)
-team work questions, what you like the most about team work and what are the challenges and how you address conflict
-moment you demonstrated leadership
-navigating challenges
-failure
-on a scale of 1-10 how achievable are your goals
-things you will do now and during the program
-the challenge the industry is facing
-the best recent invention within your industry
-how do you keep up with the general business
-questions for him
There were more questions but these are the highlights and the ones that I remember the most.
He asked a lot more and some of the questions were flowing from the conversation but some clearly were pre-written and he needed to ask all of them.
The interview was somewhat conversational and he was pretty easy to talk to. Scheduled for 30 but went on for 45.

ust had my interview a few hours ago. It lasted for an hour. It was with an Alum.
He asked me the following questions;
Walk me through your resume
Why MBA?
Why MBA now?
Why INSEAD?
My short and long term goal?
Leadership experience?
Time I had an uncomfortable conversation at work? I think its a diversity kind of question.
He noticed i had a prior masters 9 years ago and kept grilling me on my motivations?
The rest of the time we chatted about his experience at INSEAD & his work in Amazon as it is one of my target organizations post-mba.

"I had my interview with two alumni and 1 shadow member from Ad-com.
The interview was a friendly one but at the beginning, they went straight in and asked me about my startup venture. Why did I leave my job? They were trying to dig deep and ensure I know my venture thoroughly. They had several scenario-based questions as well, such as what would you do in case this were to happen or things didn't go your way.
My questions were maybe more on the personal side, digging deep into my personality and understanding how I see things. They asked me other several questions such as:
1) How do I plan on handling my venture alongside an MBA?
2) Why ISB and no generic answer, what specific steps you'd take in ISB to reach your goals?
3) Two stark differences between the startup world and corporate world?
4) What are your weaknesses?
These are some questions I remember.
Rest revolved around my work, my learnings and my experience. Basically, everything revolved around what I had mentioned in my essays and resume. Nothing other than that.
The interview went on for 35 mins.
Overall it didn't feel like an interview, it was more like a conversation and they were genuinely interested in getting to know more about me and there were laughs and straight-up advice in between.
I used Preppie's interview training package, they were good and definitely helped me gain clarity with my answers before the interview.

I had two interviews, both very conversational but one was a little more casual while the other was more structured.
The first interview was with a Portfolio Manager at a PE firm in the city I live in. This was, to my surprise, a very casual and relaxed interview. He asked me questions about my home country, the things I like to do, and what my LT goals are. Our conversation then just ended up being a free-wheeling conversation about current affairs and how he always tries to help people who are not Americans acclimatize to the culture here.
I tried to bring the conversation back but he just told me "I will be recommending you for admission, you can stop trying to impress me". I just smiled after that and felt a little relieved. Finally, I asked him some INSEAD specific questions.
My second interview was with someone who was in Marketing and Strategy with a big healthcare firm. This was more traditional and an intense interview
1. Why MBA? Any why INSEAD?
2. A situation where you solved a team problem in both a professional and non-professional scenario.
3. How do you plan to achieve your LT goals when you have no experience in what you want to do in the long term? How do you plan to close this gap?
4. Why did you choose INSEAD?
5. What would you be doing if you continued at your current role?
This interview ended positively too although I was a little concerned because I did stammer while giving my answers but the interviewer was very nice and easy to talk to. Made me feel at ease all throughout.
Both interviews were about 60 minutes.
PS: Class of '23
