Interviewer - Kellee Scott, Director of MBA.PM Admissions Duration - 25-30 minutes Kellee had my resume in front of her. The interview was more conversational. Interview questions: -Tell me about yourself? -How did you get into your field? -What made you interested in your field? -What is your greatest accomplishment at work that you are proud of? -Short term and long term goals? -What 3 words would you use to describe your leadership style? -Tell me how you handled a difficult situation where you had to be direct to resolve the issue (based off my previous answer) -Why an MBA and why now? -Why Marshall? -Do you have any hobbies? (She had a few follow-up questions about my hobbies and how I get into them) -Do you have any questions for me? (I asked about 4) Ran into some audio issues for about a minute. The interview lasted between 25-30 minutes. She told me to expect a response before the end of the year. Got my acceptance call about 2 weeks later. Hopefully this is of some help to someone. Best of luck to everyone!

I had my interview today for R1 Full-Time MBA. It was a generic conversational interview with most of the questions similar to the other interview debriefs - 1. Walk me through your resume 2. Brief description of day-to-day activities at job/stakeholders involved 3. Why Rotman for MBA. Are you applying to other B-schools. 4. Have you interacted with any alum from Rotman School. 5. Quote an example where - a. you showcased your leadership skills b. you set up a professional goal and how you achieved it c. professional set-back and what did you learn from it d. you had a conflict with a colleague 6. What are your short-term career goals after MBA and how will Rotman help. 7. What will be your plan B career 8. 3 questions you would ask the Dean if you met her at coffee. There was only one interviewer (who joined about 5 min late) and interview lasted 30 min. Good-luck everyone. Feel free to reach out for any questions.

The interview was on Zoom and lasted for around 25 minutes. It was a fast-paced intellectual discussion and was very conversational. The professor opened the interview with the most anticipated question: why Cambridge MBA, in which I answered by (i) giving a brief intro about myself; (ii) stating my short term and long term career objective; and (iii) explaining where Cambridge MBA fits in the picture. Then he asked a few other questions: 1. Why don't you stay in your current company given your superior career progression 2. What was the most difficult decision you have made in your professional life 3. What are the biggest threats the current economy is facing today 4. Tell me about a business idea you have thought about in the last 5 years and how would you execute that (he emphasized that it doesn't need to be something you have done) He also gave me an opportunity to ask questions during the last 5 minutes. In general, it was enjoyable. He did challenge me when he felt he kind of disagreed with my argument, but I addressed his concern directly. That's why I felt it was much more like an intellectual discussion. Hoping I'll get the good news in the next 1-2 weeks

My interview started with the interview introducing himself, gave me the ground rules and informed me of the timing of the interview and we had a bit of ice-breaker conversation about thanksgiving and how my day at work has been. It was a good way to start and the interview was unconventional, not structured in a robotic way but quite conversational. Some questions I can remember: 1. Walk me through your resume 2. Asked a follow up question on specific career progressions and gap on my resume after school because I took a gap year before I started working and I talked about that. 3. Have I engaged anyone in specific company I intend to work post-MBA 4. What is my recruitment strategy 5. How do you prepare for the rigorous MBA curriculum 6. ST / LT Goals 7. What are my touchpoints within the Johnson community 8. What will I do if I fail to land my first choice(consulting), based on my Banking background at some point, why not IB? 9. Will you continue to work in US or go back to home country or others 10. What other club activities will I do apart from those I highlighted in my essay 11. What other schools are you applying to (Technically my Why Johnson) 12. What else do you want me to bring to the AdCom / let them know abt me 13. Do you have any questions for me Interview time was about 45minutes. Interviewed with a 2nd Year.

I had panel 2, with two alumni and 1 member from Ad-com. Pretty standard I guess. The interview was extremely friendly and they were intent on listening to my ideas and motivations. I didn't feel they were trying to corner me or test me. They were just interested in understanding my motivation for taking different decisions. So when you prepare, make sure you can backup your career decisions with good reasoning. My questions were more on the personal side, digging deep into my personality. I suppose being someone with a lesser work ex, they didn't have much to ask from work area. The questions were as follows : 1) What are your long term goals and how do you see your MBA experience helping you in that? 2) Why ISB? Only these were the general questions. Rest revolved around my work, my responsibility, my learnings and my experience. Also had a bunch of personality questions - I love philosophy so they revolved around that. The question was - "So what do you think life is about?" The entire interview lasted for about 45 mins. One very different question I had, which I am sure not many people were asked was - Tell us about your family? I was a little stumped and even excited at this question. Overall, I don't know what will happen but I really had a lot of fun just interacting with alumni and could see myself totally fit in the culture of the school. The entire experience helped me appreciate and understand the school so much better. To those preparing, the interview is not meant to put you under stress but a chance to share your story, which is a very valuable chance indeed. All the best!

I had my interview at 1400 hours and it started sharp on time. The panel included a couple of alumni. One was a very senior guy who graduated back in 2004 and the other one graduated in 2017. Both of them were well versed and had read my application and the essays thoroughly. They made me comfortable and did not put me under any stress whatsoever during the entire 40 min interview. The questions centralized on: 1. Why ISB || Why ISB over IIMs || Why ISB over foreign universities 2. About the ultimate long term goal 3. Struggles, learnings from the events organized in college 4. Deep diving on my work-life 5. Ethical and Moral questions by giving out a hypothetical situation 6. Whether I had decided on any clubs and chapters at the school 7. Ended with an opportunity to ask anything to the panel. In nutshell, know about everything you have mentioned in your application. They counter-question on things you mention and with their experience, they know who's faking it in seconds. The interview was not a monologue and was instead an open friendly conversation. There is no need to stress because they are looking for reasons to select you and not to reject you. I took 3 mocks through Preppie and would 10/10 recommend it to anyone. They have a wide range of experienced and fresh ISB alumni. The preparation kit and the feedback after the mocks are remarkable. The panel provides extensive and brutal honest feedbacks to eventually extract the best out of one. The first interview went terribly and was probably the reason why I got admitted eventually. The team makes sure to boost up the preparations in the background and also pairs you up with people from different industries and age groups to make sure you are exposed to multiple challenges before giving out your best in the actual interview. I am extremely satisfied with their services and is probably the most economical resource out there. Would totally recommend to get in touch with their team.

The interview panel consisted of two alums. They were very friendly and listened to the answers patiently Duration- 45 Mins Questions 1. Brief introduction 2. Explain parliamentary debate as that was a part of my achievements 3. Deep dive into an internship I had done with ORF and Facebook 4. Deep dive in my current role and my contribution to the team 5. Why MBA, Why ISB and what I add to the cohort 6. Was asked the goal question in the form of where are you headed in life. Then the follow-up question was Immediately after ISB what will be your goal and how confident are you in achieving the same. 7. Two values I live by 8. Behavioral question on handling a conflict in a team 9. Was asked to perform a minute of stand-up and some slam poetry as I had mentioned them in my hobbies. - Be careful while listing hobbies 10. Was asked about specific clubs I'm looking to join at ISB I had used Expert's Global for the app and interview prep. Would recommend them to anyone looking for end to end consultant. Also took Preppie's Pro package for a 2 hr exhaustive session. The alum from Preppie was well prepared with questions and tried to exhaust all possible scenarios I could encounter during my interview. Will fully recommend preppie for anyone looking for quick and thorough interview guidance.

Questions revolved around why mba, why ISB, why my short term and long term goal, what I would contribute to ISB, got a few scenarios and was asked how I would work on improving them, conflicts I had while organizing an event. Overall It lasted for around 35 mins, Used preppie for mock interview prep and they were very helpful

Duration 45 mins. 2 Alums and 1 Adcom The interview started as scheduled and I was asked to introduce myself. Questions - 1- The interviewers dug into my current work experience. As I work in a cosmetics startup they went deep into my KPI's, knowledge of the industry, and also knowledge of the pricing and procuring. 2- I was asked about my future goals, which I had mentioned in the application (Automotive). I was asked to talk about that and give an example of how I can add value to it. 3- I was asked to provide a case on what I would change about a specific company wrt their marketing and strategy. A few follow-up questions thereafter. 4- Further, I was asked about my plan B at ISB. 5- Then I was asked about my leadership style. Previous examples of where I showcased this quality while leading a team. 6- Then we spoke a little bit about hobbies and which ones I would like to pursue at ISB. 7- I was asked if I have any questions for the panel. Overall, it wasn't a very easy interview, but the tone was conversational and very professional. I chose @Preppie for my Interview prep and chose @Strategy4Gmat for my application! I highly recommend both and thank them for their help in the process. Please feel free to reach out to me in case more information is needed Good luck :)

Interview was with a recent alum, and lasted about 45 minutes - 30 with her questions, 15 with mine. Was pleasant but not too conversational. Questions were pretty standard, and some she even read verbatim off of a prompt. Questions 1, 2, and 5 were standard, while questions 3 and 4 come from a question bank and are asked at the discretion of the interviewer. 1. Tell me about why you want an MBA and why an MBA from Haas in particular - had to cover my background, my goals, why MBA, and why Haas in this single answer 2. How will you support DEI in the Berkeley Haas community? 3. Tell me about a time you were in a heated situation at work in which you were ultimately proven wrong? 4. Tell me about a time when you convinced colleagues to do something which was not in their job description? 5. is their anything else you want me to tell the admissions committee? - here I spoke about how I would contribute to the Berkeley Haas community Good luck!
