This is by far the BEST interview I've had with any school! Simon really cares about the students and their reputation. My interview lasted for 35 mins with the Assistant Dean of Admissions. She was so lovely, upbeat, interested in me and my story.
1- Walk me through your resume and tell me about yourself
2- How do you see Simon fit in your short-term and long-term goals?
3- Why did you choose to apply to Simon? What about Simon excites you?
4- Tell me about a challenge you faced professionally?
5- What is your proudest achievement at work?
6- How do you feel about team collaboration?
7- Do you have any questions for me?

1- Talk to me about yourself
2- What do you want to do right after Johnson?
3- What appeals to you about Johnson in particular?
4- What do you do for fun?
5- How do you show up as a team member?
6- How do you encourage diversity, equity, and inclusion in the classroom?
7- Anything I haven't asked you that you wanted to share with me?
*Overall: My interviewer at Johnson was a second-year student. There was an adcom on mute. Felt more like a conversation and like I was talking to a friend.
The interview lasted 45 mins. It was on Skype. They call you so no need to contact Johnson if you don't find an add request. I panicked for a second when 3 minutes went by and I didn't get any message or call from my interviewer and then I realized that I had myself hidden under privacy (in settings) so make sure that people can access you and that you're visible on skype. Check your privacy settings.

Duration of Interview: 35 minutes
2 panelists and one Adcom member who had their video off and was on mute
The interview was very conversational, started with them introducing themselves
1. Walk us through your profile highlights
2. Why ISB and Why MBA
3. Tell us more about your short term goal
4. Challenges faced while leading a team
5. What went right and what went wrong with the startup

Hi all,
Had my interview today with Karan from adcom team.
It was a pretty conversational interview, mostly focused on my profile and my goals. Here are some of the questions I remember:
1. Why MBA and why MBA now?
2. Why Schulich?
3. Confirmed if I wanted to be considered for MBA in India program and the reason for it.
4. Do I want to highlight something not on my profile, or something they might have missed while evaluating the profile?
5. A way in which I have contributed to the community, and what impact did it have?
6. What is my leadership style?
7. What skills do I have which make me stand out as an applicant?
8. Ended by asking if I have any questions for them.
I would recommend everyone to be candid while answering questions, and not worry about it too much.
Good luck :)

Hi Everyone,
Set up in Round 1 2022 intake :
1. Interviews happened at the center.
2. My center was in the VC room at MGF metropolitan mall. ( Professors
were on a video call)
3. the interview timing was 8:30 AM. It started around 9:10 ( Duration: 30 mins)
Interview debrief :
Q: What is your current location?
Q: Why was Gurgaon not Ahmedabad since the latter was closer? Gurgaon was my job location.
Q: What is your preference among WFH/WFO? Why does your company still not provide WFO? Answered: I started defending the stand. There were multiple follow-up questions.
Q: What are the other colleges where you applied? Answered: IIM A and IIM B.
Q Why not ISB? Answered: Class size is one of the reasons.
Q: Which college will you pick between IIM B and A? I explained my decision to join IIM A is driven by discussion from alumni
Q: He asked names of different alums to whom I contacted?
Q: Introduced my topic: ”Since government employers are overworked, It is justified to take bribes.”
I started with the point that the bribe is unethical.
Interviewer 1 interrupted and mentioned your company might be doing the same. I started defending my company again. They pulled multiple incidents, which I tried to justify by providing counterarguments.
Interviewer 2 (Majorly silent) did you feel lost in your career and what you do in these scenarios.
They started asking about my hobbies and ended the interview.
Hope it helps
Best of luck

2) What skills gap do you see and why MBA
3) What values matter to you the most
4) Describe an recent stressful situation at work and how you handled it
5) What is your ideal team set up
6) 3 things you want the admissions team to know about you
7) Proudest achievement
She then asked me if I had any questions for her. She was quite interactive. Overall it went on smoothly. There was a technical glitch from her end for a couple of minutes in the start, but otherwise it went smoothly.

Hi,
I interviewed with Third-party Admission/may be - Named "Maria"
Duration - 30 Min.
She started with her own introduction about her profile and how long she has been with UNC ---etc.
Below are the questions that were asked to me (no particular order)-
1)Introduce yourself briefly -3 min(under)
2)CV related one question
3)Give me an example where you were challenged in professional or personal?
4) 2 superpowers that you wish you had?
5) why MBA and why now?
6) short term goal?
7) long term goal?
8) Constructive feedback that I received nd how it has helped me to evolve now in my current role ?
9)3 words to describe me?
10) Odd ball question - instead of asking how my team members view me, she asked me what is that they think about me which is not true? gave me 30 sec to think and answer
11)what kind of team members do you like? give ex about their characteristics?
So a whole bunch of questions within the span of 30 min...
I feel I answered them nicely, tried to make it into a conversation rather than a pitch.
One tip - those who may have TPI(third party) interviewered- try and make it as a conversation, they are very straightforward and are there to just throw questions,,, so make it engaging.
Overall a nice exp and now just hope that I do make it :)

The interview was with an AdCom member. It started couple minutes late (the interviewer mentioned that the previous interviewee was asking too many questions hence the delay). The interviewer clearly read my profile, and knew my background before the interview. The following questions were asked:
1) Describe your pre-MBA experience? Why MBA? What are your ST and LT Goals? (I was asked all three questions at once)
2) Can you give me three things you want the admission committee to remember about you?
3) What do you think sets you apart from other candidates? I gave an answer, and then she asked this again: What do you think sets you apart wrt soft skills?
4) Work instances for 1) Proudest initiative/ experience 2) Conflict (difference in opinion) 3) Feedback received
5) Tell me about a time when you did something (professionally) that changed the way you perceived things?
6) Do you have anything else you have prepared that you want to share with me?
7) Any questions for me? (I asked one question, but then the interviewer asked (and stressed) if I had any other question - I'm thinking she wanted me to have at least 2-3 questions ready to ask about that school. IDK.)
On a whole the interview went for ~25 minutes. Wasn't my best interview, but I still gave satisfactory answers IMO. Fingers crossed!
Good luck everyone! I hope this debrief helps you well!

My interview was with Alana McGee. Very conversational interview. Since she was a graduate of Foster's evening MBA, she kept sharing her experiences as well throughout the call. She had already gone through my essays and application so she didn't ask many of the general questions - like career goals, etc. I was asked a few profile-specific questions and then many behavioural ones.
1. Talk about your professional experience.
2. Why are you looking to pursue an MBA?
3. Plan B
4. You have already spoken about your goals in your essays. Tell me 1-2 primary reasons how you think Foster can help you achieve those.
5. What are your interests outside of work?
6. How would your teammates describe you?
7. TMAT when you had to persuade your boss for something they didn't want to do.
8. TMAT you failed at something.
9. What kind of a leader are you?
10. What biggest obstacle will you face during an MBA?
11. What do you bring to Foster?
12. Anything else you want to share?
13. Anything you want to ask me?

Q6. Tell me about a professional failure and what did you learn from it?
Q7. If you could ask 3 questions to the Rotman chair during a coffee chat, what would you ask?
After these questions, she asked me if I had any questions. I asked her 3 questions.
Overall, my interview lasted for 35 minutes and she said that I will hear back within 2-3 weeks.
Finally, I would like to thank everyone for sharing their interview debriefs here.
