I had my interview with Brenda Pearson, a member of Ivey's Career Management team. I was a bit worried at first because I've never met her, but she was truly lovely and made me feel at ease throughout the interview.
Having talked with the alums/current students, listening to the podcast Julia shared, and going through the questions here were definitely helpful! As most have already mentioned, it was very conversational and tailor-fit to my experience (e.g. she asked how the selection and evaluation process was for my first job as a Management Trainee). Here are just some that I remember:
1. Walk me through your resume
2. Why an MBA and why now?
3. Why do you want to work in that industry?
4. What specific companies have you looked into, particularly in Canada?
5. What do you know about Canada? What sources do you follow?
6. Do you have any hesitations about the Ivey MBA?
7. Tell me about a time you had a conflict at work? How did you handle it?
8. Tell me about a time that you had plans and it didn't pan out? What did you do and what could you have done differently?
9. Is there anything you were hoping I would ask and prepared an answer for?
10. Do you have any questions for me?
That's it! I thought I was prepared for the post-MBA employment goals questions, but I still thought my answers could have been better. I suggest to research more on this.

I had my interview with Jessica Morgan. Unfortunately, prior to the interview, I didn't have many interactions with her except for a few e-mail exchanges. The conversation felt very mechanical and there was barely any small talk/follow-up questions/reactions, but she was very nice and eager to share when it was time for me to ask questions.
Here are some of the questions she asked me:
1. Why did you decide to pursue an MBA?
2. Why do you want to work in that industry? (I mentioned I wanted to shift)
3. Tell me about a time that you had a conflict at work? How did you handle it?
4. Tell me about a time that you set a goal for yourself and you weren't able to do it? What do you wish you could have done differently?
5. What would you do if one of your group mates isn't pulling his/her weight?
6. What would be your biggest challenge when you join the program?
7. Was there ever a time you felt overwhelmed by the amount of work? How did you handle it?
8. She also asked me about something one of my references mentioned
9. What is something about that's not on your resume that I never would have guessed?
10. What is your leadership style?
11. Do you have any questions for me?

Interviewed on Zoom with a member of the Adcom. This was a blind interview.
Very easy and peaceful experience, and the interviewer was extremely sweet.
Questions:
- Walk me through your resume.
- Why MBA?
- Why Questrom?
- ST/LT Goals
- Target post-MBA organizations
- Tell me about a time when you made a mistake at work.
- Tell me about a time when you had to unexpectedly take a lead on a project.
- Any questions for the Adcom?
Just ensure you know the school well enough, align it with your goals and ask intelligent questions, and you should be good :)

I interviewed with an external consultant - apparently WBS hires an external consultant to interview few of the candidates to get the 3rd person's view.
She started by first explaining the structure of the interview - About career history - My ambitions - Any questions I might have
1) Career History - Explain your reasoning on your career decisions and 1 achievement/contributions/takeaways from each. She asked few questions around my career to go into more details, especially in my entrepreneurship domain.
2) My ambitions - I wanted to be an entrepreneur and described the business idea in brief. She asked "How would you envision your business or what you want to achieve out of it beyond 10 years from now"
3) Why MBA and Why Warwick
4) How would others describe your leadership qualities since you have led teams in the past.
5) Any questions
Ended with her describing the next steps on what and when I can expect the decision.
Overall pretty conversational - always smiling and a chilled atmosphere.

The interview I faced was with a member of the Careers team at MBS. He was very polite and the interview was very conversational. It went on for 35-40 mins.
The questions asked were mainly regarding
1) Why an MBA
2) Why MBS
3) What are your plans after
The interviewer was very clear that the MBA was not a direct pathway to PR in Australia, and wanted to convey that the job market in Australia was a lot tougher at the moment due to the current Pandemic. He was very clear that you need to be able to ride through the tough periods.
I was able to discuss my aspirations in the medium to long term, with good feedback from the Interviewer.
The conversation concluded with the Interviewer mentioning that the Admissions Team would get back to me within 1-2 Weeks.
Don't stress too much. The Interview process is quite comfortable. Good luck! :) :)"

For the application and interview preparation Mr. Rajnish (7506031606) has helped me a lot, I got to know him just one month before the application deadline and the support he has extended has been immense. I also took two mock test with Preppie, they have a great team of ISB alums and the feedback from the mock gave me a direction for my final interview preparation.
Hoping for the best. Wish you too a great success ahead. :)

It was more of a conversation more than an interview. Interviewer was asking questions with respect to my experience to get to know me better. why SDM was asked, which was mentioned in previous info sessions.

Mode: Zoom
Scheduled Time: 3 PM
Start Time: 3:10 PM
End Time: 3:40 PM
Panel - 2 Male Alums (Co 2008 and Co 2010), another person who was on mute with video off throughout.
Q: Please walk us through your experience since graduating.
Q: Could you explain in detail about your experience at X company?
Q: I'm unable to follow, please back up and explain from the top.
Q: Got it, now please explain your own role in all this in detail.
Q: So why did you leave this job?
Q: What do you want to do in life?
Q: So how does an MBA help in that?
Q: Could you name one or more companies that you would target post ISB? Why?
Q: Any questions for us?
The interview was neither stressful nor really very friendly. It was very detailed and went deep into my experiences and my specific role in every experience. Lots of cross-questioning on the same. Lots of probing on my goals and how does the MBA tie up into it.
To prepare for the interviews, I took help from Preppie. Did a couple of mock interviews with them, and got really good actionable feedback. I also got encouragement on what I did right during the mocks. Nischay and his team were really helpful throughout and I would highly recommend them for your interview prep.

It was very conversational and I was asked all of those questions. I was also asked "why an MBA right now" that was a follow up to why MBA. they also asked for examples of times of conflict and how I handled them. The final question was do you have any questions for me.
I was reading about mba interview prep and an old adcoms person said its a huge red flag if no questions are asked, so just make sure you have a few questions prepared that cant be found on the website.

Received interview invite 5 days before the interview.
Scheduled Interview Time: 1 PM
Interview time 1:15-1:40 PM
Platform: ZOOM
Panel: 2M (both alums; did not provide details beyond names) . There was an AdCom member as well (no questions from him; video was off as well)
The panel was very friendly and mentioned that this is going to be a conversion. They also asked me not to hesitate to inform them in case there are some connection issues in between from their or my end. Below are the questions they asked :-
1. You've mentioned that you would like to work in startup post MBA. Why did you chose to work in a big organization after your engineering. A follow up question on why I didn't switch jobs. ( asked this as I am working in the same organization for the last 4 years)
2. What are the things you don't like about my work and a follow up question on that.
3. Asked me to explain a certain aspect of my work I had mentioned in my essays.
4. Asked to describe a challenging situation at work related to people management.
5. A guesstimate on number of Electric charging points required in India in next 1year and 5 year.
6. How much time will it take to get entire India vaccinated and Why? ( probably asked this because of my Healthcare background).
7. Why ISB?
8. What's your Plan B, if you're not selected?
9. Any questions for us?
Interview Preparation :-
For my application and interview preparation, I took help from S4G. The team at S4G has really helped me to structure and fill the gaps in my answers. The feedback from the mocks has been pin pointed and accurate. They also focussed on things like my body language. The three mocks focussed on different aspects of my application which made me cognizant of different questions which could be asked. I believe having mocks taken by experienced ISB alums is really beneficial as the interview is experience is pretty different than the traditional Indian MBA interviews . Would highly recommend S4G team to anyone seeking help :)
Hope this helps!! Feel free to DM in case there any other questions.

CBS interviews are with an alumnus.
My interviewer has an amazing career in PE, all over the world, +10years since graduation and is someone really impressive, and yet he was very reactive although his emails were 1 line only.
He started by introducing his career and how CBS contributed and contributes to his life and career.
Then he asked me :
-Walk me though your resume
-What did you do during this job? I answered and continued to describe my experience
-Why MBA?
-Why now?
-Why CBS?
-What will you contribute to CBS?
-Which other schools did you apply to?
The interview was scheduled for 30 minutes, but it lasted 45min, with 25 for my answers and 20 for my questions.
I tired to give clear rationals and tried to make everything as clear as possible as he is from a different industry.
During the interview, I wasn't sure if I had done a good job, but at the end he seemed satisfied and pleased to have discovered something different. So don't over analyze your interviewer's reactions.

Hello Folks, So I was waitlisted without an interview in R1 and finally got an invite to interview in R2.
I was allowed an opportunity to submit additional information where i mentioned my marriage, promotion, international publications, and my hobby of cooking. This letter i believe helped me go up from waitlist to interview.
The interview was virtual and very laid back. Sarah Lucas from HBS was the only person on the panel and she started my interview with her wishes for my 1st anniversary.
From the get go it was a very laid back interview. Following are the points we covered.
1. Why particular major and college ?
2. How has my firm helped me evolve as a person ( 6 yrs in same company )
3. Discussion on recent promotion.
4. I had mentioned about restructuring in the company due to covid, she asked for more details on that and my views on it.
5. Why i was promoted when others were getting laid off.
6. Most challenging country to work in and why.
7. I had 10 international conference publications - which was most important for me.
8. Future goals - why i wanted to follow what i wrote.
9. Role of world bank in energy market ( i mentioned i wanted to join world bank )
10. Do i think subsidy on renewable is good.
11. My hobbies.
Sarah was very soft spoken, allowed me to do a lot of talking, was very conversational as she kept expressing her views on what i said too.
Overall a pleasant experience, I think I could not have done better. Now fingers crossed for the decision date !

The questions which were asked during the interview:
1) Why Kogod?
2) Why MBA now? why not later?
3) Introduction
4) How many Universities have you applied to?
5) What is your short-term goal?
6) What are your expectations from the course?
If you prepare well with all these generic questions, I think you can crack it. One positive thing about my interview was that the interviewer was very open and sharing insights on how the course lool-alike on daily basis.
