I received an invitation to book my interview on the 5th Feb. Due to personal commitments, I scheduled it on the last available date, the 16th. My interviewer was a second-year student, and the conversation was very friendly and conversational. The total interview lasted 40 minutes, with 30 minutes for questions directed at me and the last 10 minutes for my questions to her.
1. Tell me about yourself
Two follow-up questions based on my resume regarding my professional journey
One question was how based
One question was why based
2. Why MBA
3. Why now
She followed up on a critical statement in my reasoning for why now
I defended my stance using the current industry scenario, where I also covered my short-term and long-term goals
4. Why Ross
5. What specific aspect of Ross is compelling me to choose it
6. How will I contribute to the B-school
7. What is a mistake I made while handling a project
How did I take accountability
What lessons did I learn
8. Describe something I did without prior experience
How did I handle it
What lessons did I learn
9. How do I adapt to different cultures
Demonstrated with examples
10. Tell me about a time you received feedback
How did I react to it
What lessons did I learn
11. What is my source of motivation
In the last 10 minutes, I asked her three questions. She was very friendly, shared her journey candidly, and expressed many truthful insights.

Just had my interview with Kate Piasecki. Although it felt quick, it lasted exactly 30 minutes.
1. My education related stuff – Internship details
2. How I got my first post-undergrad recruitment.
3. Why I chose my first company and role.
4. My promotions and career progression.
5. Why I left my first company and joined the second (and the same question applied to my next switch).
6. Leadership structure of my reports, supervisors..
7. Current project I’m working on. Not just responsibilities.
8. Why MBA?
9. Why Goizueta?
10. Follow-ups on ST/LT/Plan B goals and target companies).
11. Strengths/Values I’ll bring to Goizueta, along with a weakness.
12. How different people would describe me: My supervisor? My colleagues/reports? My friends/family?
13. An example of one such value I mentioned in my 12th response.
14. Any questions I had for her.
There were a couple of questions I can’t recall, but other than that, expect follow-ups. Despite the number of questions, the conversation felt very natural, engaging.

I had an interview on February 18th. The interview was okay, it was with the admission committee - it was conversational and a tad-bit informational. It lasted about 25 minutes, more or less. If I remember correctly, I think after the 15th minute, they wrapped up asking you questions, and open the floor for me to ask them questions.
A bit about my background, if it helps: international student, gmat waiver, did my undergrad in the US & 3-4 years of WOE in R&D and business consulting.
And the wait begins.... Goodluck everyone

2. A new case comptetion is coming up and the team is interested in taking part in that by compromising a little on current ongoing project. As a leader how would you handle the situation
This is just the essence of the question. Actual question was a bit elaborate
Interview -
1. How has been your morning?
2. TMAY
3. Why MBA?
4. About a situation where I faced a challenge in implementing a project (from my resume). What did you ACTUALLY do to tackle the situation?
5. Why MBA now when you already have an integrated MBA?
6. About my experience of working at a start-up. KPIs? Learnings? How did I end up there?

I think my interview was a bit rushed as well/did not go very well
1) We spent the first 3-4 minutes getting acquainted and discussing dogs since my interviewer’s dog was in the background
2) I then gave my interviewer a rundown of my personal, educational, professional history, and hobbies
3) They then asked me to tell them why I want to do an MBA what are my short term goals long term goals etc ( I think I screwed up here, although they didn’t clearly ask me to tell them why I want to go to Darden, I should have talked about it in the why MBA part
4) We then discussed how I have handled diversity at work place- I answered with examples
5) Was also asked how I have grown as professional- I talked about how I have become more adaptable- with examples again
6) Then I answered the- how do I plan to contribute to the Darden community
7) We then went on to discuss the questions that I had for my interviewer
I feel that I really messed up the Why Darden part- although I wasn’t asked that specifically it seems that everyone has talked about it in their interviews, so I should have used some window somewhere to talk about it.

I recently interviewed with Darden on 3rd Feb with Adcom Officer, following are the questions she asked me:
1) Tell me about your childhood
2) Then about the career and academics
3) For me, I am pivoting my role from Banking to Retail so the reasons for that.
4) Why MBA? Why Darden and Why MBA now? What do you feel about the case method?
5) Situation based question- if anybody is not working to their potential, how would you deal with it?
6) what do you do when you are not working?
7) questions for me.
Also, they begin their conversation from a small talk, like what were you doing on a weekend, or how was day, something like this.

25 minutes long: TMAY, Why MBA, Why Darden, Questions for interviewer. (My interviewer seemed to be in a hurry/not-interested, asked to finish answers fast. I was cut in between a couple of times to finish fast.).
Takeaway: Keep answers crisp.
I am not sure, finishing interview so fast is a good sign or a bad sign (Haha)

I completed my interview, and it went really well. The interviewer was great, and the questions were quite standard—Why MBA? Why Tuck? Why now? I tried to connect a couple of questions in one of my answers, and it seemed to work, as the interviewer appeared impressed. After each of my responses, he gave positive feedback, which was encouraging.
There was one new question that caught me a bit off guard. He asked me to imagine that I got into Tuck, and it was my graduation day—what would I see as my greatest earning? I took a moment to gather my thoughts and replied:
"Throughout my current journey, both in my team and in life, people have looked up to me. They still do today. On my graduation day, I would want to see that I’ve built a similar reputation at Tuck—that the first-year students of that time look up to me the same way. - I have also connected some past examples of this thing"
I’m not sure if it was the perfect answer, but it felt like the best I could articulate in the moment. Given Tuck’s low interview conversation rate, I’m uncertain about the outcome, but overall, I left the interview feeling good.
