Had my interview today with an admissions representative, it was a decently pleasant experience. It seemed like she had standard responses to give after she heard each answer, so there weren't any follow-ups and it wasn't really conversational. Interview lasted 35 mins, and she was much more conversational during the questions section at the end. 1.Why MBA and why is it right for you right now? 2.Why Kenan-Flagler? 3.What do you like and not like about working in teams? 4.TMAT you had to navigate a difficult situation where a team member is constantly late to work, not submitting projects on time, performance is slacking, etc. 5.Tell me about your biggest achievement. 6.What would be an ideal workplace environment? What kind of environment do you thrive in? 7.TMAT your received constructive criticism. 8.What 3 things do you want the Adcom to remember about you?

My interview happened for 30 mins. 29 minutes felt great (deep technical questions). In the last one minute I was asked to choose between rabindra nath tagore and satyajit ray. I said I can't because both are exemplary in their own field. Interviewer- you have no choice choose any one. I went with tagore. Interviewer asked to sing a rabindra sangit or tagore poem. I politely said I can't coz my bengali speaking/singing proficiency is bad. Interviewer said we won't mind go ahead and sing. I felt slightly perplexed and politely said I can't coz I don't. It ended. Now I am not able to interpret how it went actually.

Hi, just sharing a few thoughts and questions from my virtual interview experience. Questions (Indicative List) 1. Take us through your journey, especially the bits not included in your application. 2. I had break post my work experience, so few questions around what I have been doing in this time. I have been working in my fam business so questions on why not continue there. 3. Clarity on MBA and post MBA goals. 4. work ex related questions - kind of role I played, challenges faced, situational questions such as instances where my viewpoints differed with the seniors and how I handled it, when I took ownership over matters out of my own volition, etc. 5. other B-schools I have applied to and why come to ISB. 6. Few current affairs related questions. Not detailed though. I got asked because I am a lawyer and I think they wanted my perspective on few things. 7. Pointed questions on my essays. Thoughts The panelists were not trying to grill at all and the entire interview felt conversational from start to end. Interview lasted around 40-45 mins but didn't feel so. If you are thorough with your application and have clarity on your goals, you should be good to go.

It was very conversational. The questions asked are generally on the lines of your work experience and your learnings from them. (Info you have already provided to them via your essays and CVs). Then other generic questions as to why mba, why at this time and why oxford in particular. How you can contribute to the cohort. You can also expect a couple ‘tell me about a time’ competency based questions. In short, the better you know yourself, the earier you’ll find it

I had my Oxford R1 interview in-person today in Delhi. It was with Charlene New. Lasted around 45 minutes. It was a very conversational interview, and while she didn't directly ask basic MBA questions like introduce yourself, why MBA, why now and why Oxford, she focused more about knowing what skills I have learned via my work and would extra would I like to learn at Oxford. She also asked me 2 behavioral questions - tough situation and mitigating a conflict. Last ~10 minutes was me asking her 3 doubts I had about the program.

Profile: Score: 675 Background: B.Com (Hons) DU, 8.0 CGPA Work/Internship: Deloitte Offer Letter Other: 99.3 CAT Percentile Interview Experience: Interviewer: Current Student (2nd Year) Duration: 25–30 minutes Tone: Conversational but rigorous on "Why NUS?" Questions Asked: > 1. Walk me through your resume. 2. Why did you choose Finance over management (given the CAT score)? 3. What is your Plan B if you don't land a job in Singapore? 4. How will you contribute to the NUS student community? Reflections: I felt the interview went well, but in hindsight, my answers on "Plan B" might have been too focused on returning to India, which may have signaled a lack of commitment to the Singapore market. Next Steps for You Request Feedback: While NUS rarely gives individual feedback, a polite email to the admissions office thanking them and asking for "general areas of improvement" occasionally yields a one-sentence hint. Focus on ISB: Given your background, you are a prime candidate for the ISB Young Leaders Program (YLP). ISB tends to value high CAT/GMAT scores more heavily than NUS, which places a massive premium on "Singapore job-market readiness."

Interviewed with Jackie Otto (adcom), it was an extremely pleasant experience. The interview was very conversational, lots of back and forth, follow-ups on things I mentioned in my application or during my interview, etc. 1. Tell me about yourself, your journey from undergrad to current workplace, your background, etc. 2. Tell me about why M&A and entrepreneurship, expand on short term goals. (She read my applications (written and video essays) so this question was based off that). 3. CMU places a big importance on community, TMAT when you made a difference in your community as a leader, with a project, person, etc. 4. TMAT when you had to deal with difficult situations or conversations, how did they go? 5. Follow up from previous question about another project of mine she wanted me to talk about. 6. TMAT when you faced failure or a bad situation, what did you do? 7. You've grown a lot during your short career timeline, what resources did you use and were most helpful during this journey (like trainings, etc.)? 8. How have the different cultures you've experience affected your business view, how decisions are made, etc. (I moved around a lot growing up) 9. Tell me about your hobbies, what you do outside of work. 10. Any questions for me? Interview lasted 50 mins, had time for 1 question from me.

Got interviewed by the program Director (Prof. Carl Voigt) via Zoom. Instead of interview, feels more like discussion to make sure if me and the program can be a good fit. The interviewer already reviewed my resume and application, so I didn't have the "talk me through your resume" part, but jumping straight to: 1. Why MBA? 2. Do you plan to work in US after MBA? 3. Detailed question regarding my work experience 4. Backup plan regarding how to finance the program (I was applying for scholarship at the same time) 5. Any question for IBEAR? I asked about how often IBEAR students join the clubs within its Business School, and he said it depends on each individual, because IBEAR students are expected to work up to 70 hrs/week due to compressed curriculum program. But basically, not impossible if you choose so. I expected 30 mins interview within 1 hour window, but ended up only being interviewed for about 20 mins. Not sure if it's a good sign. but, overall interview felt genuine and truly concern and wanting to know about me more to make ensure a good fit with the program.

My interview was with an Alum who graduated 30ish years ago. Superrrrr conversational and fun interview. Questions asked: - Tell me a little about yourself, why you chose [undergrad school], why you chose [current company/role], and what have these experiences done for you? - Can you highlight a project at [current company/role] that you learned a lot from? - Can you tell me more about your leadership with [direct reports]? What have you learned about your leadership style and how has it changed along the way? - How often do you have reviews at your company? - Tell me about a time when you got constructive feedback, how did you grow from it? - What are your short-term, long-term goals? Why MBA? - Why Kellogg? - What can you contribute to Kellogg? - Anything you want to add or highlight that we haven’t spoken about? Overall, an enjoyable experience. Interview lasted 45 mins, we had to cut short because we ran out of time. Lots of follow up questions about things I mentioned, friendly conversational vibe.

*CrackAdmission writes:* Hi. Below is a list of questions we collated from different applicants who had interviews for ISB PGP R2 last weekend in Delhi. • Can you walk me through your current role and day-to-day responsibilities? • What parts of your job cannot be replaced or automated by AI? Why? • How has your career progressed so far, and what logic guided your key moves? • Why did you choose <Company X>? What other options were you evaluating at the time? • How do Non-Performing Assets in the US banking system compare with those in India? • How do you evaluate the trade-off between stability in an MNC and ambiguity in a startup? • Tell me about a time you had a conflict within your team. How did you handle it? • What has been the most challenging situation you’ve faced professionally? • What would you say is your biggest weakness? • What is your opinion on Donald Trump’s proposal to cap credit card interest rates at 10%? • If you were not pursuing an MBA, what would your next career step be? • Why ISB specifically? Why not schools like LBS or INSEAD. Those are more aligned with Finance roles? • Why are you applying now and not in Round 1? • Why do you want to pursue an MBA at this stage of your career? • What sparked your interest in <chosen field of study>? • Rate yourself on the following attributes and explain your reasoning: self-control, social intelligence, and curiosity. • Tell me something about yourself that is not captured on your CV. • You mentioned about your podcast experience. Can you talk about specific episodes. • Since you have mentioned about DEI in your essays, imagine in your post MBA role you need to convince your country head to hire transgender employees. How would you make the case? • What are your views on AI? Where do you believe AI should not be used? • What do you want to do professionally after your MBA? • What are your key weaknesses? • What do you think are the five most important qualities of a good product manager? • Why do you want to pursue an MBA? Note the following: - The backgrounds of the applicants were varied - Software Engineer, Economics Graduate, Program Manager etc. - I have deliberately mentioned <placeholders> to ensure that that NO PII is shared. - This is by NO means an exhaustive list and only captures the interview experiences of the applicants whom we had mentored with our Mock Interview Prep Services.
