3) What type of leader are you?
4) What are the challenges you expect while studying at Schulich?
5) One thing that we would not know looking into your application
6) Why should we select you?

8) Do you have any questions for me?
Advice: Go through your resume well and be confident with your story.

My interview was around 30 minutes.
I did all the research and preparation by myself.
For the interviews, just be yourself and prepare to the best of your abilities. The interview is mainly behavioral and situational based and usually starts off with a tell me something about yourself to get you comfortable!
Keep your responses around 2 minutes and 30 seconds and try to follow a STAR (Situation, Task, Action, Result) structure to answer.
All the best

Standard questions for most of the interview. Nothing not seen on other interview debriefs.
1. Walk me through your various roles, with emphasis on how your has experience changed.
2. How has your leadership style evolved?
3. Most significant challenged faced at work?
4. Why MBA?
5. What are your goals post MBA?
6. What is your plan B in case you can't achieve your immediate post MBA goals?
7. Why Kellogg? What courses would you be interested in? What clubs? What extracurriculars would you want to partake in? (Significant grilling on this part)
At this point, the interviewer talked about her experience and the clubs/ activities she was involved in. The interview concluded with the questions I had for her.
The entire thing lasted about an hour.

hey everyone! Just want to share my interview experience. Very friendly interviewer. Dug deeper into why Kellogg (as in we had a rephrase of "why kellogg" at the latter part of my interview). I had quite a number of behavioural questions (he dug deeper into those too). But, you should know that KELLOGG DOESN’T TRICK CANDIDATES (my interviewer made this clear before we started). The school really does want to know (and indirectly asks the interviewer) this: Do you see this person as your classmate?
(1) Walk me through your upbringing, college, professional experience, Why MBA, and Why Kellogg. > yes, all in one question!
(2) What do you consider as your biggest professional achievement?
(3) What kind of team member are you?
(4) What kind of leader are you? Give me a time when you showcased your leadership style.
(5) Is there anything else about Kellogg that convinced you to apply?
(6) If I ask one of your Kellogg classmates, what do you think they'd tell me about your strengths?

Although my PGPX interview was scheduled at 5 P.M., it got preponed to 2:30 P.M. on the same day. It finally started at 2:55 P.M. The panellists were two senior professors from the institute – P1, P2.
After sharing greetings, P2 gave me a brief overview of how the extempore will work and proceeded to withdraw a chit from the basket for me. I was asked to gather my thoughts and start speaking whenever I was ready.
Taking 1.5 minutes to prepare my stand, I tried to start my extempore by directly diving into the Pros and Cons of the situation that I was tasked to resolve. However, I was interrupted by P1 and asked to present my stand/summary up-front before diving into the details. I politely mentioned that I am neither for nor against the topic since I believed that there was more to this than a black and white approach.
While I was trying to put across my points, multiple questions were thrown at me and I answered them all to the best of my understanding. This discussion went on for around 10-12 minutes.
Post this, P2 switched to questions specific to my work experience (Alternative Asset Management Industry) and ‘Why PGPX?’. I used around 2-3 minutes to answer these in details. We had some fun as well with a few jokes being cracked by both P1 and P2. The last question asked to me was ‘What kind of recruiters/companies are you planning to target post MBA?’. Post this they asked me if I had any questions for them and since they had banned me from asking any questions related to Covid-19 and the Internal Immersion programme, I asked them a question around the teaching methodology at PGPX. They happily answered this question and the session ended with me thanking them for their time and the usual greetings.

With COVID, the interview took place over Skype. It was a pretty relaxed atmosphere, and while the interview questions aren't difficult, it's good to go prepared and be ready to talk about your experience, your resume and your story in a cohesive and compelling way.
The essay questions on the applications tie in pretty well with the interview questions, so it's good to at least have a blueprint in mind with how you want to answer the essay questions and to have a consistent message between the interview and the essays. I went into the interview with the draft of the essays prepared, and it definitely helped to frame the conversation. Practice a few times on how you want to address certain questions so it sounds natural.
As usual with any interview, go in with good questions prepared.
Be genuine, confident and humble during the interview!

Very casual chat with a 2nd year student at Anderson. The interviewer was extremely friendly and made sure that I felt comfortable about sharing my story.
1. Walk me through your resume?
2. Why MBA?
3. Why now?
4. Short term goal? any plan B?
5. How will you contribute to Anderson?
6. What about LA are you excited about?
7. Tell me about a time you led a diverse team?
8. Do you have any questions for me? - I asked him about his career and Anderson experience.

Interview was only 30 minutes. First half was all behavioral "tell me about a time when..." type questions. Second half started with "why Tepper?" and my goals, got really conversational here and I would say if you demonstrate you've done your research you will do well. I brought up a lot of things I like about the school that I had learned talking with students and the adcom was very excited to discuss those things with me. It's my top choice right now and I feel like it went really well, definitely the most casual of any interviews I've done once we moved past the behavioral part

Walk me through your resume and the path you took after college (some follow ups)
Why MBA?
Short and Long term goals follow up questions
Tell me about working with a diverse team
How would others describe you as a leader
Was interviewed by a 2020 alum.Overall 1 hr with equal time for interview and questions for the interviewer. Felt like a very pleasant conversation and the interviewer seemed interested in getting to know better my motivations and even tried to make me feel at ease during the interview. No oddball questions and a great experience overall.

Interviewed with 2019 Alum. We setup a time over email.
Interview lasted 30mins (I think I spoke a little too fast than I should have). In the beginning, my interviewer clarified that he has not seen my application (except the CV which I sent) and that this is just one other data point for the application evaluation.
Questions:
1. Walk my through your CV
2. Two follow-on questions from my CV Walkthrough:
3. Tell me about a time when you worked in a diverse team, what you enjoyed, what was challenging
4. What is your leadership style
5. What are your goals?
6. Why MBA
7. Why NOW
8. Why Kellogg
Remaining time I spent on asking questions (mostly about Alum's experience at Kellogg and beyond). The alum was very friendly, and even suggested that I can reach out to him anytime if I have more questions.
Overall it was a good experience. I will advise to practice behavioural questions.

Just finished my interview. Very nice interview panel. Extempore topic: Politicians should be banned from contesting elections in India if they have pending criminal cases against them. Asked questions about my achievements during my job; automotive sector and marketing related questions; farmer protests. Lasted for about 20 min. Did not experience any grilling, both panellists were very pleasant.

Got done with my interview too. Strangely not a lot of behavioral questions; just one about a challenging experience. Took about an hour. Half of it was the interview; the rest we were talking about my interviewer’s experience at Kellogg. They really went deeper into why Kellogg; what classes I would want to take, extracurriculars I’d want to take part in, etc. I didn’t expect to be grilled so much into the Why Kellogg part though. School research came in real handy. I was more surprised about the lack of behavioral questions.

Had my interview with a 2020 alum yesterday. She was very friendly and surprisingly made me feel more motivated and relaxed in the interview. Lasted 1 hr exactly, mostly standard questions with some follow ups on job choices and leadership stories. Good experience overall

I got done with my interview today. Decent experience, but just a barrage of questions. There wernt any cross-questions to my answers, and the interviewer was from my industry so she could relate to some of the context behind my answers.
Just a friendly advice to all interviewees, do prepare for variety of behavioral questions. I got asked mostly all of them

Started one hour late. It got over in 25 minutes. The topic was "Changing city names is wrong and it should be banned". They asked me some questions from my professional experience. Then they asked, "why our generation switches jobs so frequently". Since it was my third job in 5 years. It was an intimidating interview. But I kept myself calm and smiling.

My extempore was : Changing city names is wrong and it should be banned. Almost 25+ mins asking everything from hobbies to industry situation to post mba goals to what you will bring to campus. Very professional setup. Professors did allow sufficient time to speak

I got panel no.1, interview was very short (15 mins I guess), extempore was - can leadership skills be taught in class (i answered with no, it requires work experience and outside interactions more, it would need both class and work exp) Not too happy with my extempore response
This led to asking about why Pgpx/IIM-A in case leadership cannot be taught
Next 2-3 questions were industry related followed by my short/long term goals post Pgpx

Extempore: was Adani group right in taking down their ads after Saurab Ganguly’s heart attack.
Questions relating to my industry.
Why PGPX
5 years ago May 6, 2021 09:05
Started 50 mins late :(
2 professors - 1 male and 1 female
Started with an extempore - "Should families earning income above a certain level support a family earning below a certain threshold in COVID-19 like situation?"
talked against the topic for around 2-3 min. not a lot of cross-questioning on the topic though.
Then Why PGPX.
I have my startup - so who will take care of the startup?
I patented one of the products in my startup - Asked a couple questions around that.
What do you bring to the table. Asked a few questions related to my industry and the work I have done in my career.
Extracurriculars - Football - Who is your fav player - Why and then Messi vs Ronaldo.
