I interviewed over zoom and the experience was quite well. Someone from the Admissions Committee interviewed me. The discussion started with an overview of my trajectory. There were some specific questions about how I convinced people on a critical strategic decision I had described in my resume. The discussion then moved to my leadership style, experiences, and learning. The interviewer had questions about my short-term plans (if I wanted to change my company or stay here). We then talked about how would this work for me (traveling logistics...). There was a question about my thoughts on the reduced social life I would have as a result of this commitment. The discussion then went to my family and if they are okay with this decision. We then talked about hobbies. The interviewer took some time to walk me through the program, time requirements, benefits of the program... We then discussed the next steps (if I have taken GMAT/EA, which round was I planning to apply, and so forth). In the end, I was asked to bring up any question I have. The interview took about an hour and was pretty casual. It felt to me that they wanted to understand where I was coming from and where did I intend to go with this program.

Skype with Alumni in my city. Positive, conversational, and casual. Few follow up questions to specific points.
Tell me about yourself?
Short/Long Term Goals?
Most significant career achievement?
Tell me about a time you demonstrated leadership.
Tell me about a time you
Why MBA?
Why MBA now?
Why Kellogg?
What if Kellogg/MBA doesn't pan out?
What do you think will be most challenging for you at Kellogg?
Questions for me?

Was a relaxing one, yet very formal interview. Overall positive, but just a lot of questions squeezed in. The interviewer was from my same industry so she could easily relate to some of my answers. There were no cross-questions to any of my answers, so difficult to interpret the interviewer's vibe. Following were the questions asked:
Walk me through your resume?
Typical day at work?
What do you enjoy the most at work?
Most significant achievement?
Your leadership style?
Your weaknesses?
Tell me about a time you had to deal with diverse perspectives?
Tell me about a time you had to deal with a difficult person at work.
Tell me about a time you had to navigate through ambiguity?
Tell me about a time you had to pick yourself up and try again?
What is the thing you will struggle with while pursuing your MBA?
Why MBA?
Why Kellogg?
Why now?
Any questions for me?
Overall, just stay positive. None of the questions were asked to grill, but they were definitely lot more evaluative than my interviews at other colleges. My interview lasted for 50 mins.

Hello, I had my interview on 01/20 with a second-year student. Overall it was very conversational in nature and we had a few things in common so we talked about that for a little bit before the questions started. It was about 30-40 minutes in length.

1. Tell me about you and your journey up until now
2. Why MBA?
3. Why Kelley?
4. What skills do you most want to improve while pursuing your MBA?
5. Who are you in a team project (describe how you work with the team)?
6. Describe an example when you lead a team.
7. How do you deal with conflict?
8. Describe an example of when you dealt with conflict and how this was resolved.
9. How would your manager describe you (traits, etc.)?
10. How would your friends describe you?
11. What is your biggest professional accomplishment and why?
12. Questions about Kelley/Indiana
Best of luck!

My interview was virtual with a current professor and Johnson alumna.
We only discussed the case study for 5-7 minutes before walking through my work experience, why I'm choosing to pursue a MBA at this time, and why Cornell Tech.
It was very comfortable and she left plenty of time at the end for me to ask 3-4 questions.

INSEAD interviews are with two alumni and you have to coordinate with them to arrange the time and date of the interview. Both interviewers live in the same city as me. Due to the pandemic, interviews were online.
To prepare for the interviews, I did a mock interview with a friend who went to INSEAD a few years ago.
The first interview was with an alumni with a lot of experience and who event went back to INSEAD for some executive education. The interview was schedule for 30minutes, 20minutes of interview and 10minutes of questions.
-Introduce myself
-Why MBA?
-Why INSEAD?
-Why Singapore?
-Which other school have you applied to?
-Goals?
-How do you deal with difficult situations?
She was very honest with her answers to my questions and I leant a few things about the period in the UAE.
At the end of the interview, I thought that I hadn’t done too well because my interviewer didn’t seem so much into what I was saying (not from the same industry at all) and didn’t smile so much. But I think that was down to cultural differences because when I asked for feedback, she was positive and said she enjoyed our conversation.
So don’t let your interviewer perceived reaction fool you and a good lesson to learn for a future at INSEAD, the business school of the world.
To prepare for the second interview, I had a chat with an INSEAD alumni from my industry who gave me some tips to draw my interviewer into why my specific branch of the industry matters.
The second interview was with a more recent graduate from my industry, although a complete different branch and background. The interview was scheduled for 1h with 45minutes for the interview and 15minutes of Q&A.
-Walk me through your resume (many interruptions to ask why this choice, why this country, why this industry)
-Why MBA?
-Why now?
-Why INSEAD?
-Have you applied to other schools?
-Why to this specific school?
-What will INSEAD bring you?
-What will you bring to INSEAD?
-Which association do you want to join?
-Goals?
-Why your goals?
-Why stay within your industry?
-An example of leadership
-An example of dealing with a difficult decision
-What is your definition of diversity?
-How has your background influenced a decision you’ve made?
His answers to my questions were interesting and he had a lot of recommendations to make the most of an experience at INSEAD.
At the end of the interview I was exhausted; it was fast paced with a lot of questions (maybe more than I can remember). I was slightly more satisfied with my performance than with the first one but once again the interviewer didn’t let anything transpire and didn’t provide me with feedback when I asked.
Overall, prepare well, but don’t be scripted. Be yourself and I’m sure you’ll do very well. Good luck!

I had my interview with an alum (she was 2016 pass out from 1Y full-time MBA) - as she asked me to schedule it, I used Google Meet for the interview.
Interview Details:
1. She started by introducing herself.
2. Then, she asked me to provide details about my career including all important decision points.
3. It was an interactive discussion, as she kept on asking me more details related to projects, my 1st MBA, and company switches.
4. By the end of this discussion, she was like - I have gt answers for couple of questions which were in line such as achievements, strengths etc.
5. Then, came standard questions - why MBA, why Kellogg?
6. After that she asked me one thing that I feel is weak in my application - I told her my GMAT score.
7. After that, it was open forum, if I have to ask her anything related to Kellogg - I asked a few questions regarding her exp at Kellogg and professional life impact post Kellogg.
She ended the interview post that - overall it ran for around an hour, and I think it was good - let's hope for the best.

- Why MBA? Why Schulich? And what other programs have you applied to?
- What are your post-MBA goals?
- What kind of traits in a leader you admire and what kind of a leader you are?
- Have you ever disagreed with the authorities? Give Instances.
- In a group or team setting, what role do you play?
- How did your company cope with the pandemic and how did you go about it?
- Since the Schulich MBA is collaborative and filled with people with such diverse backgrounds, how will you go about working together as a team?
- What challenges do you think you will face in an MBA?
- How do you give back to the community?
- Tell us something which is not on your resume?
- Any questions you have for me?

Me too! I thought it went well! The interviewer was extremely polite and easy to talk to. The questions were around: teamwork, navigation of challenging problems & problem solving approach, why LGO & the topics that I wrote about for the additional essays, & QA.
Give it your best shot and best of luck! I hope more people would share their experiences on here. We are all in this together!
I had an opportunity to ask questions after 24 minutes lapsed. Don’t worry , you’ll do just fine! LGOs are humble and passionate(from admissions to students). I wish you the very best with your interview.

Mine was on 6th November. Very conversational. It started off with the data visualisation question. Then pretty much revolved around my resume asking me clarifications on each roles. It ended with the question about what I like to do in my free time? I didn’t get any behavioural questions. I got a chance to ask a couple of questions. Total time was 31 mins. I was made comfortable during the interview and it wasn’t interrogative. I think that’s the experience of most if not all.
All the best who haven’t yet appeared for the interview. Just be calm and things should be fine!
Cheers!

I had mine a couple of days ago. It was very conversational. Couple of questions about the data visualization exercise, then I was asked about my current role at the company I work for, how we have faced the Covid-19 situation and other related questions to the industry I am now, what I plan to do after I finish the program, why Sloan, and that was pretty much it. It was very straightforward with no tricky questions asked.
Hope that helps!

I applied for the Part Time Online MBA at Tepper. Interview was on Zoom with John Ivy. It started right on time. It was a blind interview. He had only read my resume and had not seen my application. He was very pleasant and started right off the bat.
Q1. What does a typical work week look like?
Q2. What are your short term goals post MBA?
Q3. What is your Plan B? (This was an application question too)
Q4. Tell me about a time others have come to you for help at work?
Q5. Tell me a time when you have helped a poorly performing colleague.
Q6. Tell me about a time when you did not have enough information about something and what did you do about it?
Q7. Why Tepper?
This was a 30-minute interview. But we were done in 17 minutes. There were no follow up questions to any of my answers. He invited questions and I asked him about a particular track.
I also asked him for feedback about the interview. It was positive. He said I answered concisely and he did not feel the need to ask follow-up questions 'which is a good thing' (his words). Keeping my fingers crossed.

The interviewer did not ask me to introduce myself or walk her through my resume- she jumped straight into the behavioral questions
1. Tell me about a time when you handled a difficult situation at work (in a leadership position)
2. Tell me about a time when you disagreed with your team/supervisor
3. Walk me through your short and long term goals
4. Why MBA and why Yale SOM?
5. The quote that you submitted is "xyz". Why did you select this quote and what does it mean to you?
6. What contribution do you plan to make to Yale SOM, if admitted?
7. Anything else you would like to share?

I also had my interview today! Agree with everything said above. It was very conversational and since she had read my whole application beforehand, i didn’t really have to repeat anything already on my application. She said we should hear back in 3-4 weeks. Good luck to everybody else with upcoming interviews!

I had my interview today it was really friendly and conversational. Interviewer had detailed knowledge of my application and asked questions based on that. I also got asked why stern and why mba? There wasn’t a high level tell me about yourself question as the interviewer had the application.
Best of luck to everyone. Be yourself and know your application is the best advice I can give.

I interviewed last night. It was pretty similar to ubranjmf. I was asked to give my 60 second hypothetical "why should we hire you" pitch. I had some other questions as well but nothing out of the ordinary. One question was about something I worked on that had a negative outcome. I was also asked how I managed conflict with colleagues and co-workers.
Bottom line, it was pretty much what I expected from an Owen interview - cordial, straightforward and brief (35 minutes or so).
Good luck to everybody interviewing.

I did my interview this Monday. It was a semi-formal chat with an MBA alumni. We briefly introduced ourselves and we went through some standard questions( Why INSEAD, Which internship experience means the most to you, your short term goal post MiM, what do you anticipate learning in INSEAD would be like.) The alumni is very friendly so it didn't feel as formal as a traditional interview.

It was pretty chill. KIRA system allows for practice so you can get used to it quickly. Their were 5 questions, mostly random, with one of them being specific to INSEAD MIM program. Overall it was quite a nice process.
For Preparation, you can watch MIM-essay videos on Youtube and their website. Their are a few Kira specific articles online which you can look up as well. All the Best in advance! (In case you are planning to give one in the future)
