I presently work as a credit security officer at State Bank of India. I have been in the organization since March 2021 and I have been in my present position since 1.5 years. I am posted in one of the bank's branch in a small far-flung district called Coochbehar in the state of West Bengal, India. I am at the entry level position of Assistant Manager. I have not been promoted yet and my promotion is due in March, 2023. My primary responsibilities include assessing the creditworthiness of prospective borrowers, analysis of financial statements, risk assessment and post-sanction activities. I am also responsible for analyzing and issuing Bank Guarantees. I also supervise the new joiners of the team and help them get up to speed. I worked for 2 years in an Information Technology MNC as a project engineer and 3 months in a private management consulting firm as an analyst. Both the positions were entry level positions.
I do not have any such extracurricular achievements.
My objective after the completion of my MBA program is to transition into a consulting role with a top-tier management consulting firm. I am open to work in any region of the world. Long-term, I intend to grow in the organization and eventually be a partner of the firm.
My objective of doing an MBA is to switch sectors. I am specifically looking for European MBAs, primarily due to their program duration of 1 year.
Kindly evaluate my profile. It would also be helpful if my GMAT Focus score is par for the programs I am applying for. Also suggest ways in which I can strengthen my profile.
Perhaps a no-cost ding analysis may help you for your future attempts, which should definitely include an improved score if possible.

Priyanka here from ARINGO. Speaking about your profile, a 675 on the GMAT Focus looks decent. However, your application journey highlights a key challenge: while European programs value diverse backgrounds, competition is fierce, especially for top consulting pathways.
Your rejections from Judge and Imperial suggest that your application narrative might need sharpening. While your finance experience is valuable, how will you convincingly articulate your transition to consulting, given your current role's focus?
