Strengths you must highlight (play these up everywhere). CFA Charter is a GOOD recruiter signal for asset management. Put this early in your resume and essays. Actuarial progress (11/13), good quantitative rigor; position this as proof of sustained technical discipline. UBS experience, sustainability & climate risk in asset management, this is topical and differentiates you for ESG / quant roles on the buy-side. Technical toolkit (R/Python/Power BI/Excel), very valuable for quant/PM analyst roles. Leadership & community building (silent reading community of 800+) can be useful for demonstrating initiative and interpersonal skills.
Weaknesses/gaps: GMAT (not yet taken), top programs expect high GMAT scores, aim for 675, 685+. Your CFA + actuarial gives compensatory weight, but a strong GMAT is still a cornerstone. Also, Explicit buy-side recruiting experience, you have relevant experience at UBS, but admissions and recruiters love direct buy-side / investment-decision examples (portfolio work, performance attribution, models you built that fed investment decisions). If you have these, quantify them. If not, consider short internal projects or a pro-bono/contract project with an asset manager where you help with factor research, quant screens, or attribution analysis. Leadership stories framed for business impact, convert technical work into stories of stakeholder influence, revenue/profit/portfolio impact, product or process improvements with numbers. If you plan to apply to US schools (Stern / Kellogg), think about visa/job market realities and be prepared to explain target geography post-MBA (NYC/US vs Europe/Asia).
Draft essays with clear narrative: why MBA → why investment management → why each school. Use your sustainability/climate risk experience to show differential value for ESG/impact investing roles. Secure LORs from senior people who can quantify your impact (UBS manager; a client from fintech consulting).

Priyanka here from ARINGO. Speaking about your profile, your profile is genuinely impressive, A CFA Charterholder, almost a full Actuary, and experience at UBS in sustainability and risk makes you stand out even among finance-heavy applicants. Your consulting + asset management + fintech gives you a strong foundation for investment management or even impact investing roles post-MBA.
Your leadership through Toastmasters, teaching, and running a community of 800 readers adds personality and soft skills, which AdComs love. Schools like INSEAD, LBS, and Kellogg will want to see a competitive GMAT score. With that in place, you’ll be a very strong candidate for ISB, NUS, and Imperial, and a solid contender for INSEAD and LBS; Kellogg and Stern will be more competitive but still realistic given your credentials and unique mix of quant and leadership experience.

Good Luck!
Your profile is exceptionally well-rounded and stands out in the finance applicant pool. As a CFA Charterholder and near-qualified actuary with four years of experience across risk, asset management, and fintech—plus a current role at UBS, you bring a rare blend of quantitative rigor and sustainability expertise. Your leadership within Toastmasters, teaching experience, and community-building work reinforce your communication and leadership strengths. Academically, your 8.8 CGPA from a top commerce college is solid, and a strong GMAT (target 685+) will help cement your candidacy for top global programs. Your post-MBA goal in investment management aligns naturally with your background; framing this as a move from analytical execution to strategic investment leadership can make your story compelling.
