Hello All,
I will have a period of about 2 months (8-9 weeks) of time off where I can dedicate my full time and energy towards preparing for the GMAT. Prior to beginning test prep I have tried to familiarize myself with the test and gather some prep materials.
I currently have the following guides:
• Powerscore Gmat Critical Reasoning Bible
• Official Guide for GMAT Review (2015)
• McGraw Hill’s Conquering GMAT Math and IR (2nd Edition)
• Manhattan Advanced GMAT Quant Strategy Supplement
• Nova’s GMAT Math Bible
• GMAT Club Math Book
• Princeton Review Cracking the New GMAT (2013 edition)
• Official Guide Tests (Test Codes 14,25,28,31,37,42,48,52,55)
• Official Guide 2016 (With Verbal and Quant review books)
•
Manhattan GMAT set of 8 strategy guides
• Aristotle GMAT (RC 99 and SC Grail Books)
I am unsure which are worth using and which are not and would greatly appreciate any input. Also, I do not come from a quant background but am confident in my verbal skills from looking at some sample questions. If anyone has a study plan they utilized or they know about with specific emphasis on quant it would be great. My target score is 700-730 and I know this can be made easier with a higher verbal but I would like to score in the 45-47 range in Quant which I know is difficult for someone who has only taken 1-2 math classes in the last 5 years or so.
Also, are the resources I presently have sufficient for my goals—especially in building a foundation in the Quant principles? If not, I have heard some people suggest
Magoosh or
Target Test Prep. Would anyone suggest these resources?
Thank you for any help in advance!
