bb Looks like Sloan is also not planning to change its deferral policy. Here's what they have mentioned on their website. (In addition, they have mentioned that their admission criteria, process, and timeline remain unchanged).

And Kellogg has also mentioned that they will not offer blanket deferrals due to COVID or in case someone doesn't want to start the program online.

Hi. I am not sure what you mean by a deferral tracker but I it seems there is list of the MBA programs that is materializing, primarily based on the WSJ article - Top MBA programs Split on Whether Accepted Students can Skip the Fall Here is the latest list of MBA programs who have clarified their policy on deferrals:

  1. HBS - anyone can defer. Students have to notify the school by June 1st. Can defer for 1 or 2 years
  2. Yale - standard deferral policy that was in effect before the Coronavirus applies (if an international student is unable to secure a visa before the start of the program, they are granted an automatic deferral)
  3. Columbia - same policy as Yale above only in case of a Visa issue and possibly case by case approach per existing policy
  4. Stanford - no change in deferral policy. Deferrals are only granted for medical or military service reasons, Stanford will consider deferrals for students whose personal circumstances have been directly impacted ty the coronavirus, such as a sick family member
  5. Wharton - is telling students non-International to apply for a deferral if they would like one and they will grant them on a case by case basis depending on the needs of the class. Interesting, that it is for non-international students. My guess international students already have a lenient deferral policy?
  6. McDonough - pushed the start date from July 27 to Sept 8th to provide more time for international students to secure visas. No deferrals
  7. Darden - offering a delayed start option for a limited portion of its incoming class of 2022. The group will start its first-year core classes in Jan 2021 and take classes into the summer. This is specifically for international students (but what about internships ???)

Here is what I have been able to gather. If anyone has more information about deferrals and what MBA programs are doing, please post it here.
    Thanks and good luck!
    BB.

Has Sloan always had that on their website or has it been put up since COVID-19? I wonder if the COVID-19 pandemic would fall under unexpected medical event?
