Since the progress report covers prior quarter, it should report the number of course units completed and the number of class hours attended during the previous quarter of that academic year. Choice C is the right answer. Other choices are eliminated for reasons highlighted below.

Does anyone has a clear explanation for this sentence?
I considered 'the amount' wrong in the meaning of the sentence. + parallel problems for the rest of the sentences. So C right.
