Hi Digvijay,

Assuming that you took this CAT in a realistic fashion that 'matches up' with what you'll face on Test Day, then you already appear to have a strong set of critical thinking skills. While you clearly have a greater opportunity to pick up points in the Verbal section, you can also pick up a couple of points in the Quant IF you can eliminate the little mistakes from your work. That all having been said, you could conceivably hit your goal in month if you put your focus into learning the proper Verbal Tactics and learning to spot the inherent patterns that GMAT question writers use. At this point, there's no way to know which Verbal materials would be 'best' for you, so you should consider each of the available options and choose the one that best matches your personality, timeline and budget. As another option, I think that you would find the EMPOWERgmat Verbal Score Booster to be quite helpful. Most of our clients finish that Study Plan in under a month. During that time, you'll also be able to access any of the Quant resources that interest you. We have a variety of free resources on our site (www.empowergmat.com), so you can 'test out' the Course before setting up an account.

GMAT assassins aren't born, they're made,
Rich

Hello Guys,

I had started preparing for GMAT in September last year. I took diagnostics test in OG-2017 and my score was below average in all field.

For preparation, I started following Magoosh's 6 month study plan. I was making good progress and religiously following the plan. But due to some personal and professional set backs, my studies stopped in November mid. stopped caring about everything in life. Started abusing weed for running away from problems in life.

Somehow, i gathered courage and took professional help in Jan end. I was diagnosed with depression. After medication, therapy and exercising, I am in much better shape now.
Today I decided to start the preparation again. So, took GMAT prep exam for the first time.

My GMAT Prep Score:

IR: 7 ( 81 percentile)
Q: 49 (83 percentile)
V: 33 (67 Percentile)

Total : 680 (85th Percentile)

Got 15 question wrong in Quant. ( 5 Silly mistakes :| )

Got 15 question wrong in Verbal. Bombed SC ( 11 question wrong in SC  :? )

I am non native speaker. Now I am confused which plan to follow.

Should i

concentrate on verbal till score improves ?
Start everything from scratch ?
Start following 6 month plan where i left ?
I have Magoosh 1 year subscription. Should i get eGMAT SC course? (head a lot of good reviews about it).

Try a trial course first. You can then decide if they suit you or not. You already have a solid Quant score. You can definitely crack 720+!
