I don't understand your question.
Can a complete thought be: If A happens
The obvious question would be: then what?
So you must say: If A happens, then B will happen.
or If A happens, B happens
etc
If it rains, the traffic slows down.
If you pay attention, you will do well.
The reason for asking this question is that, many have eliminated D and E stating that "then" is not stated. Is the logic right? If not, can you please help me know how to eliminate D and E
