Hi! I just bought the OG18. Once read first pages where all the exam estructure is explained. I saw the Diagnostic OG. Should I do it? Or is too early. Is it an exam for beginners to show how are they or is just a trial that I should do after studying for a couple of months.

You should definitely start with Diagnostic test in the OG as that will give you an idea about where you stand and how much would be required to achieve your target.

Even if I’ve been the last 5 years without having any maths training! I’m afraid to have a really bad mark so it will discourage me. There are concepts which are really easy where you just have to remember an easy formula to solve the problem but at the same time the lack of practise could give me a bad concept about my possibilities

So, I guess that's actually a fear of failure ..he he he.

It's fine even if you haven't touched math in ages. You can think of it as your baseline score from which you are ONLY going to improve. Isn't it?

But then it's all about mental state if you feel it can hurt your confidence just start doing the concepts from one of the sources available and then take a test after some days of preparation.

I feel better now! I got 14 /24 in problem solving and I had I little mistakes of concentration in two of them (i guess I was pretty tired). So I could have obtained Above Average.

RC and CR are quite good, but I took my time answering the questions so I’m not sure if it is a real result. In Quantitative part I had a little mistakes of concentration but I understood really fast the exercises that I failed after seeing the answer.

Timing and Concentration, those little mistakes in Q could make me lose lot of points. Any recommendation?

The good thing is that for me is not a sacrifice to study during 1-2 h each day. This week has been nice even studying each night, I fill confortable reading and practising mi maths instead of being watching the TV
