If j is divisible by 10 & 12, is j divisible by 24?

It would be better if you post the entire question.
To answer your question, this statement is not sufficient enough
Case1: j = 60
In this case, j is not divisible by 24
Case2: j = 120
In this case, j is divisible by 24

Hi,
If a number is div by two different numbers, that number need not necessarily be div by multiple of those numbers but surely by the LCM..
lets see the example..
j is div by 10 and 12..
lcm of 10 and 12 is 60..
so j will be a multiple of 60..
so we cannot say about its div by 24..
if j is 60 * any odd number ans is NO..
if j is 60* even number, ans is YES
