Hey guys I'm a first year undergraduate student studying Economics in a highly ranked college in India with some to kill. I was wondering if the FRM would be a valuable addition to my resume while applying to a masters in finance program abroad. I plan on taking the CFA as well (when I'm eligible) so will the FRM help me improve my chances or should I just purely focus on my grades/GMAT/internships?
Hello,
Is doing an FRM aligned to what you want to do eventually? You might not have an answer to this right now, but maybe you would want to think along these lines.
Your grades will be extremely important, so would be your GMAT score and internships.
To sum it up - Top masters programs want you to be a rockstar at everything

.
My suggestion would be to research on roles you would get post FRM or post CFA. Look at what maps to your skills or aligns to what you would want to do and plan accordingly.
Hope this helps.
