Do I need to retake GMAT- 690 & admitted to Darden

I will go to Darden this Fall.
One current student there suggested me to retake GMAT to above 730 if I want to go to consulting.
I already took GMAT 3 times:
649 Q49 V26 AWA4.0 IR3/8
640 Q49 V29 AWA4.5 IR7/8
690 Q49 V35 AWA4.5 IR7/8
My concept level is around 720- but I am easy to get stress during exam. I went to WC several times that made me short of time. I am really out of energy to do any GMAT test. I wonder whether I should use reamaining time to read some economic books which are recommended by Darden and prepare many stuffs before leaving or retake GMAT.
The reason I wanna go to consulting is that I wanna develop myself as soon as possible. I heard that one year at Mckinsey is worth as 4 years at other places. And MC will give me many chances to explore many industries that I can find the one I am fitted. After 5-7 years, I will get out of consulting and switch to General Mgmt in a corporate or starting a new business.
I heard that networking is also an important factor in MC recruiting. But GMAT is one of filters in the first round.
My first thought when having MBA is doing General Mgmt. But things change, I have to be stronger as soon as possible. So I choose MC path to develop myself, but I still love General Mgmt/ Entrepreneurship.
My top choice companies are MBB. Second tier companies are ok. But is my conception about MC correct? (about 1day in MC= 4 days in others, explore many industries + have valuable network...)
So should I retake GMAT or not?
