Does anyone know how A is also correct here? I know that when triangles share the same base, one triangle is 2x the other with respect to the angle that is not common between them. I'm unable to see how angle QPS = RPS = 30 though.

options 1 and 2 are essentially giving the same answer then very hight probability of D and E to be answers. 
a. angle QPR = 30 means angle Q + QRP = 150
Q + (180 - SRP) = 150
gives angle SRP - Q = 30. Hence sufficient.
b essentially talks the same thing. the difference is 30.

PRS = PQR + QPR
(1)
PRS = PQR + 30
=> PRS - PQR = 30
Sufficient
