Does MBA lead to immediate monetary returns [#permalink]

Is it sensible to expect immediate monetary returns with MBA or it takes a good amount of time.

I agree it would differ depending on many conditions, like what was ones past experience, market situation etc.
Still would appreciate your friendly views on it as it is a lot of investment :)

- Nominal returns (earning money) usually starts almost as soon as you graduate. However, actual return on the investment made on an MBA may be a little time away as loans will have to be repaid.
- That said, do not measure the program based only on the monetary returns you get, especially in the short-term. This article may help provide a further perspective.

Without knowing your background, school attending, and future aspirations it's very difficult to say. One could do a simple analysis (using assumptions) to understand the potential benefit. But a lot of weight is placed on the intangibles of an MBA (network).

If you are making enough money now, MBA might not make any difference.
