Correct answer: which would later become the famous novel Uncle Tom’s Cabin, Harriet Beecher Stowe sought to portray the impact of slavery and further the abolitionist cause
I am not able to understand how the usage of the word 'would' is correct in the above answer choice. As per my understanding 'would' is a conditional verb it shows the uncertainty. In my opinion the correct answer choice should have been 'which later became..' Can you explain in detail how the above answer choice is correct?
