Question: Goran Ivanisevic served his way out of the service break giving a vociferous expression of aggression and enthusiasm against the agile and athletic Andre Agassi.
This is an incorrect sentence. While the correct version is Giving a vociferous expression of agression and enthusiasm, Goran Ivanisevic served his way out of service break against the agile and athletic Andre Agassi.
But the corrected version conveys the meaning that GI served his way out of the service break against AA. However, it is meant to convey that the expressions given by GI were against AA.
Can anyone tell me where am I faltering?

Goran Ivanisevic served his way out of the service break giving a vociferous expression of aggression and enthusiasm against the agile and athletic Andre Agassi.
giving a vociferous expression of aggression and enthusiasm is a modifier and subject shall be Goran Ivanisevic, that you may agree. Here in this sentence the placement of modifer without comma gramatically modifies the service break and it is not intended meaning.
There are two ways to to correct this error. 1. Goran Ivanisevic served his way out of the service break, giving a vociferous expression of aggression and enthusiasm, against the agile and athletic Andre Agassi. 2. Giving a vociferous expression of agression and enthusiasm, Goran Ivanisevic served his way out of service break against the agile and athletic Andre Agassi.
Hope this may help you.
