Droping out of Columbia Business School

Usually if you are thinking of doing a startup, a bunch of debt is the last thing you need. Usually... there are situations where you can get access to certain networks via the bschool. But usually the recommended approach is to NOT quit your day job until your business can sustain you somehow be that via VC or Revenue.

Going for an MBA is not something that will doom one but if you did go after the degree, I would highly recommend that you start working on your startup immediately after matriculation. That’s what people do recruiting - they immediately start interviewing and securing their internships and positions. You should do the same with your own venture.
