The black surface is obtained by removing the surface of triangle ABC from the half surface of the circle.

To conclude, we need so to know the surface of the triangle ABC.

From 1
As B is at the middle of the arc AC, we know the surface of the triangle ABC : 12*6/2.

SUFF.

From 2
All points on the circle create a right angle with a diameter of the circle such as AC. Thus, we cannot know the surface of the triangle ABC.

INSUFF.
