we can't conclude anything about the total height, because we know nothing about AO or either of the sides AB and AC, except that each is divided equally... this tell us nothing about AO... and the base with some partial height won't help to determine the area...

A for me too.

The maximum area of thsi traingle can be 1/2*4*2 = 4 < 5. Hence sufficient.

nice... after reading the explanation about the centroid of the triangle,

with

is sufficient to answer a No... Suff

st2
will lead to either a yes or a no answer... Insuff

Yes, using the centroid rule, the height must be less than 4, and therefore the area must be less than 5.
