"Whose" should refer to the beast, therefore eliminate A,B and D. In C fangs and claws "was" is wrong, should be "were".
All of the errors are rectified in E

+1 for E

Split1:
Whose should modify 'Fearsome beast'

Eliminate A,B and D

Split 2:
Was/were
fangs and claws require a plural verb 'were'

Eliminate C. Option E is our winner

A. suddenly leapt on one of the members of the expedition, whose fangs and claws were stained with blood.(modifier should modify beast rather than expedition)
B. suddenly leapt on one of the members, whose fangs and claws were stained with blood, of the expedition.(same modifier error)
C. whose fang and claw was stained with blood suddenly leapt on one of the members of the expedition.(SV agreement error)
D. suddenly leapt on the members of the expedition, whose fangs and claws were stained with blood.(same as in A)
E. whose fangs and claws were stained with blood suddenly leapt on one of the members of the expedition.(correct)

Choice E is clear of errors.correct

Thanks
