People are finding egmat verbal good. It gives good explanation of the concepts. Also, Egmat has very good question bank, which is helping a lot of students.

Hi buidiena3,

Before we can discuss how to best proceed with your studies, it would help if you could provide a bit more information on how you've been studying and your goals:

Studies:
1) How long have you studied? How many hours do you typically study each week?
2) What study materials have you used so far?
3) On what dates did you take EACH of your CATs/mocks and how did you score on EACH (including the Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores for EACH)?

Goals:
4) Have you scheduled your next Official Test Date yet (and if you have, then when is it?)?
5) When are you planning to apply to Business School and what Schools are you planning to apply to?

You might also choose to purchase the Enhanced Score Report. While the ESR doesn’t provide a lot of information, there are usually a few data points that we can use to define what went wrong on Test Day (and what you should work on to score higher). If you purchase the ESR, then I'll be happy to analyze it for you.

GMAT assassins aren't born, they're made,
Rich

Hi
e-GMAT is a much better course than magoosh. I have been using e-GMAT for the last three months, and it's a superb course for SC. You can try it as it is a comprehensive course for SC, RC and CR. It offers more video lessons. You can see the trial version and decide.

Hi buidiena3,

Regarding prep courses, in addition to seeking advice in this thread, take a look at the GMAT Club reviews for the best quant and verbal courses, and also read through some GMAT success stories to see what materials have worked well for other test-takers.

Also, would you like some general advice on how to improve your verbal and quant skills?

You also may find it helpful to read this article about
how to score a 700+ on the GMAT.

Good luck!

I got 580 overall for my first GMAT exam (V25 and Q45). I am very weak on Verbal. I am looking for a high quality prep course to help me improve my GMAT to 700 in 2 months? I am debating between E-GMAT and Magoosh. Please help me decide which one is better? If you have a better suggestion, please also let me know. Thank you very much!

I would say both are good, I love the explanations of mike from magoosh. But egmat edges out in verbal.
