So I used the e-gmat study plan feature thinking it would help me however I feel it is not an actual study plan that would help anyone... I may be wrong, just wanted to discuss that here..

How can I use it effectively?
- It takes my input of mock scores and target score.
- It just calculates daily hours I can spend and accordingly breaks down time limit for each of the sections.

Anyways I have to complete it fully and by order. What help does this study plan give me? I don't understand.

I completely agree with you. I don't think its of any use... I tried to follow it.. but I ended up scoring 20 points less than my 2 previous mocks.. i also felt that because I was concentrating on only and only 1 particular topic at a time I was forgetting everything I learned before. Also there has to be a constant practice of all question types in order to do well in a full length test, that's completely ignored while designing that software.
There are many loopholes in that study plan.
