Hi everyone,
I'm taking the Executive Assessment soon for an MBA application. The EA wasn't something I had originally planned for, so I only have about a week to prepare. I know it's a short timeframe, but I'm going to give it my best shot.

I'm taking the Executive Assessment soon for an MBA application. The EA wasn't something I had originally planned for, so I only have about a week to prepare. I know it's a short timeframe, but I'm going to give it my best shot.
I have a few questions for those who have taken the EA recently:
- If you had only one week, how would you prepare?
- Which resources gave you the biggest return on your time?
- Is it worth paying for additional prep material, and if so, which ones? Roughly how much should I expect to spend?
- Besides what's already available on GMAT Club, are there any free EA-specific resources or question banks that you recommend?
- I'm currently using the GMAT Club Google Sheets with EA questions. Are there any other good sources of EA questions?
- For Quant and Verbal, are GMAT questions a good substitute for EA questions, or should I stick to EA-only material? If GMAT questions are useful, which difficulty level is the closest to the real EA?
- Are there any free full-length EA practice tests, or is the official material on mba website basically the only realistic option?

Jumping in here even though my own 725 was on the GMAT Focus, not the EA, since a chunk of this transfers directly. One week is tight but doable if you're ruthless about triage rather than trying to relearn content. Since EA quant and verbal lean heavily on reasoning speed rather than obscure content, I'd spend day one just taking a full diagnostic to see which section is actually costing you points, then spend the rest of the week almost entirely there instead of spreading evenly across all three.
On GMAT questions as a substitute, they work reasonably well for the quant reasoning and DS-style logic, since EA's Integrated Reasoning and Quant sections overlap conceptually with GMAT's, but I wouldn't lean on them for the actual EA-specific question formats since the interface and multi-part questions behave differently. I'd prioritize the official EA practice material first and use GMAT Club's sheets to fill gaps, not the other way around. You've got a week, that's enough time to move the needle if you stay focused on your weakest section instead of trying to cover everything.
