Each business day the price of stocks is posted at the stock exchange. For the past 10 business days, the price of the stock of the racewell Corporation and the stock of the Best bedding Inc. have each increased by two dollars per share day. Is the price of a share of Racewell Corporation higher than the price of a share of Best Bedding Inc.?

1 Seven business days ago, the price of a share of Racewell Corporation stock was twice the price of a share of Best Bedding. Inc.
2 Nine business days Ago, The price of a share of Racewell Corporation stock was three times the price of a share of Best Bedding Inc.

D, OA?

The right answer is D

Would you please explain how you got to the answer. I do not understand very well the question

Thanks a lot guys

The question does not tell us the actual number of shares of each company. So it is not possible to find the answer.

hi harshad,
ans will be D
we have to just ans whether the price of a share of Racewell Corporation higher than the price of a share of Best Bedding Inc....
we also know that each share increases by 2 $ per year..so ,any share which was higher at any pt of time in these 10 yrs wud be higher every yr ..
each statement provides that info

The question is asking for only the price of 1 share, not the total number of shares..there is nothing to solve in it..if you just read the statements, you wil get to know that both are sufficient..

I am sorry, I don't know what I was thinking while typing my response. I gave the answer as D but then explained it in wrong way. Thanks for correcting me Chetan2u. Yeah, each statement alone is enough.
