I heard that Rice Jones hosted an event for Consortium applicants and those who attended will receive their admission decision early. Anybody have any insight into this?

It was part of the email for the event invite but no further info was given.

“ Round 2 Consortium Assessment Day attendees, as an added benefit for attending the event, will receive an expeditated admission decision to be shared before our notification date of March 5. ”

I did. No further info was given. I’m not sure if everyone who applied to rice got the invite to the event. Did you?

40 for Jones is a big number potentially... they did increase the class size quite a bit a few years ago but still, 40 is a decent number for a class of 170.... means they admit about that number each round (I admit I did not look up the stats)

I think they said the entering 2020 class had about 40 consortium students

I haven’t. I gave my interview on 05th feb. it’s mentioned on the website that decision would be on rolling basis from 05th March.
