Hello Everyone
I have recently joined this forum

Aspiration - Want to get a 750+ score on my GMAT
Current Situation -Have taken a sabbatical from work due to some family issues and can devote full time to preparation. Enrolled in The Princeton Review classroom program (Lucknow Branch). Scored a 570 on my first mock (Q40 and V28).

Questions
1. What strategies should be adopted?
2. Not really satisfied with the Verbal teacher after the first class. Need to understand the parameters on which I should be gauging the teacher as in to understand the effectiveness. Will look for alternative options accordingly.
3. How to plan my study, how many mocks I should be giving in a week and how do I improve my verbal?
4. Is a 750+ score really possible or I am overestimating myself and hence lower down my aspirations

Any help would be appreciated !!

Hi
I would suggest to focus on the classroom program first that you have enrolled. A score of 570 on your first mock is good.
Try to understand the strategies taught and apply them to questions. In case you are having trouble with Verbal, you can refer to the Mgmat guides. They are comprehensive and cover the entire syllabus of the Gmat. Practice atleast 3 RC passages everyday. In this way you can improve your reading skill. First of all build the skills, then you can give practice tests. After going through the theory you can start solving questions from the OG. Then appear for another test and check your progress. Hope it helps.
