In an election between two canidates - Lange and Sobel - 70% of the voters voted for Sobel. Of the election`s voters, 60% were male. If 35% of the female voters voted for Lange, what percentage of the male voters voted for Sobel?

i will solve this question like following 70% vote for S =>30% vote for L 60% is male => 40% female S L M 70-26=44%----16% F 40-14=26<--- 0.35*40=14% total 70___-----30
Wording in the original question is what's throwing me off... It's asking for "...what percentage of the male voters voted for Sobel?"
44% would be the total percent of voters that were MALE AND VOTED for Sobel, would it not? Following Fluke and Subhashghosh's logic, % of male voters that voted for Sobel would be (44/60)*100 = 73.33%
I see how they arrived at the answer, but I agree Madelaine, the wording is not very clear on this one...
