This passage consists of two statement. Each with an explanation.

The question ask's us to choose a choice that summarize the whole paragraph.

B: talks about only the life style and not the stigma

C: out of context

D: we can't link this to the paragraph

A and E.

A: talk about the overall impact it has on india.

E: key word (elite status)

I believe because of this keyword, it becomes the right choice.
