Hi,

I have completed my official gmat exam one week back, and I didn't receive the score as expected. As I am planning to re-take the GMAT exam after a proper preparation, can someone tell me if generating a ESR will be of any help in order to chalk out a plan for the preparation? The ESR costs $35.

Can someone please let me know what information we get from the ESR?

Also, if I have cancelled the score at the centre, will I be eligible for requesting an ESR report or do I have to re-instate my GMAT score for this?

Thank you!
Alizah.

Alizah - Sorry about the last attempt not being your best.

An ESR can help you understand what are your weak areas. You can visit
the following link for more details - https://gmatclub.com/forum/new-gmat-esr ... 70287.html

Also, you can get the ESR report for a canceled attempt also. IMO, it is a
good idea to get the ESR - the experts here can help you draft a good plan
for your re-take.

Hope this helps you!

Hi
In my opinion, an ESR can help identify the areas you didn't do well in the exam, so that you can work on those.
The following posts may help you further:

Even if you cancel your score at the center, you can order an ESR, you don't have to reinstate your GMAT score.

Hi Alizah,

I'm sorry to hear that Test Day did not go as well as hoped. How did you score (including the Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores)?

Hi Alizah,

You can purchase the ESR of a canceled GMAT exam. That being said, it would be helpful to know the score breakdown of your exam. Can you provide us with that information?

Once I know your score breakdown, I can provide some further advice.
