Also look at Princeton Masters in Finance.

Hey, thanks for the input.

To be honest,I don't know jack about US business schools.
I always thought a US masters would cost considerably more than one in the EU as American cost of living is on another level, and counting on being sponsored for a work visa to be able to work sounds like a risk.

Any reason why you recommend Princeton in particular?

There is no doubt US is expensive and EU have also some good colleges. But US give exposure to diversified studnts and top notch faculty

Ha ha ha...
Great to see your candour.
A couple of clarifications:
1. Costs of living in US and Europe are like comparing apples to oranges. Many Universities in the US are actually cheaper than those in Paris, London, Bonn and so on... And the Cost of Living (and those of tuition are easy to get on Google with a 30 second search)
2. Masters courses in US with a STEM degree, provide you liberty to stay for 3 years, and therefore finding a job becomes that much more easier. Truthfully, if someone can't find yourself a job in 3 years, maybe 10 years would also be too little.
3. Princeton is one of the very best, and well known universities. The resources you can get at Princeton are far more than you can get at many universities in Europe

Hope that helps...

Let's say after some research I'm sold on Princeton... do I actually have good chances of getting admitted?
I couldn't find an average or median GMAT for MFin but from the discussions I gathered it's a pretty competitive school, and you need 700+ for a good shot.
I saw an average score 49.5 on Quant being mentioned actually :-o

Hi,
Yours is one of the very common questions, with an assumption even more common. If someone answers your question on whether or not you have a good chance at getting admitted, without going deeper into your profile, it might hurt your chances more than help.

Selectivity by the schools is a function of your OVERALL profile, and unlike your assumption of GMAT being the basis of selection, GMAT score is just one of the many criteria schools weigh for candidate selection. Try going for an Average Size of Suit, basis your average weight (without considering your height, build, gender, preference of material & colour and so on).
