I have a similar problem with a slight difference. I have not submitted my application yet but one of my recommenders has submitted his recommendation. The application deadline is in a few weeks too. The recommendation contained typos and was not clear. When i click on his name it gives me an option to exclude the recommender. Could i exlude him and have another person recommend me before i submit my application?

Thanks in advance.

If I exclude a recommender does it show on the print of the final form?

I did not waive my right but now want to waive the right and add back the same recommender - If I exclude and add him back with waiving rights - is it a problem? (The recommender has not submitted the letter)

I imagine it's going to be very hard to exclude a recommender. This is definitely a question for the admissions committee.

Frankly, I am concerned that is the sort of move that may draw negative attention to your application. You are better off trying to get your recommender to fix his or her typos and resubmit the letter since there is still time and the admissions committees haven't started reviewing applications yet.

Sorry you are in this situation!

I have a similar problem, but the recommender has already submitted the recommendation in my case. I didn't think it was a big deal at the time, but found out today that we should have marked 'I waive my right'. The deadlines are in 2-3 days for Kellogg, Columbia and Haas!

Any suggestions on this?
Is this a problem? How big is this problem? Which schools will it negatively affect the most?
Anyway, to salvage it?

Suggestions and answers are appreciated. [Even if I do not get any solution at this last moment, I hope anyone else that may face this issue in the future might benefit from this post.]
