Executive Assessment (EA) Exam 101 What is the Executive Assessment (EA) Exam? Executive Assessment (EA) Exam is a shorter version of the GMAT exam meant for working professionals. Who can give this exam? If you are an experienced professional and you don't have time to prepare for GMAT, this exam is the right fit for you! Then why should I give GMAT if I can give EA to get into a B School? Here is the catch, EA exam as of now is meant for students who are trying to get into evening MBA programs. These students have an option to give either GMAT or EA. BUT some of the schools have started accepting EA scores for their full-time MBA programs as well. But who knows how it will go in the future. I am not planning to do an MBA, is this exam still for me? Of course, when the EA exam was launched in 2016, the plan was to make it exclusive for Evening MBAs. But things changed over time. Now, if you are planning to do either of the below courses, this exam is a good option for you. Hey BB, Hope you are doing well.
I have a question. Does GMAT have an edge over EA ? Would you encourage a working professional with 9+ years of IT Tech experience to apply with 640 classical (FE 595) to a B school or 150+ through EA to a full time Ex MBA program ?I know it's a bit subjective question as the acad and professional profile can impact the application but still just an opinion would be highly appreciated.

Great overview of the EA exam! I’d just add that practicing the IR section and getting comfortable with the digital whiteboard can make a big difference. Also, does anyone know if guessing at the end is better than leaving questions blank?

Usually the official tests are the most accurate and provide the best prediction. However, there are always human factors such as stress and mental variations on practice vs. test day which may swing it on way or another but there are no reasons to suspect this is inflated.... which is very awesome to see your other post that you got a 163, so clearly you outperformed yourself! Amazing!!!

P.S. I guess technically it was not an accurate score
