Hi All,
I am currently 37 years age and plan to do MBA next year. I have overall 17 years of experience in IT industry and of those 8 years in Product Management. I am currently a Senior Product Manager in Healthcare IT company. I am looking to take MBA to enhance my career. I have two queries :
1) Is 38 years too late for MBA? Looked through the exMBA class profiles of IIMs and max experience were 14-15 years.
2) 1 year exMBA with placements OR 1.5 - 2 year weekend MBA programs without placement?
Regards,

Hi
digvijayparihar86 I have worked with many applicants above the age of 35 in the last one year and got them into top Indian B-schools - ISBs and IIMs. If you feel that you need an MBA and have the desired personality traits and transferable skills that will propel your career post MBA, then age should not be an impediment. Keep in mind that all business school cohorts are built on a bell curve, so applicants at the extremes of the experience spectrum will face challenges due to the low selection rate, but if you cast your net wide in terms of schools, you will certainly convert some of the target programs. Feel free to get in touch for a detailed discussion
