Hello,

My circumstance is little different than most. But basically, I'm a Brazilian female who is now living in the US. I have a bachelor's degree from a university in Brazil (one year of which was done at the college of charleston as an exchange student) in International Relations (which is actually code for International Business in Brazil). After graduating and moving here last year, I was in limbo because of the immigration process. After that was settled I wasn't able to find a job quickly so I decided to go back to school this fall for a BBA in marketing (it'll take me an additional 2.5 years).
What I want to know is: what kind of extracurricular activities should I be involved in for the benefit of my Business school application?
I currently have two part time internships, and I plan on getting internships on the semesters to come and also during the summer. But what else could or should I do to maximize my changes of getting into a decent school when the time comes?

Choose extracurricular activities that you will enjoy and be passionate about. Step up to be a leader in these endeavors. If these activities are related to your career goal that can help, but they don't have to be. Basically, do what you love without regard to what b-schools will think. They only care that you're involved in SOMETHING.
